Solio Game Reserve - The safari driver guide will pick up the operator from their hotel in Nairobi after breakfast and proceed to Solio Ranch, located in the greater Laikipia Region, north of Nyeri town in Kenya’s central province. Solio Ranch is 180 kilometers from Nairobi. Upon arrival at the reserve, lunch will be served at the lodge, offering panoramic views. In the afternoon, a game drive will provide opportunities to observe rhinoceroses and other wildlife such as buffaloes, giraffes, zebras, impalas, Thomson’s gazelles, and warthogs. Return to the lodge for dinner and an overnight stay at Aberdare Country Club, Rhino Watch Lodge, or a similar accommodation.
Solio Ranch and Departure Back to Nairobi
Nairobi - Start the morning with a leisurely breakfast at the lodge, enjoying the stunning views of the surrounding hills and the snowcapped Mount Kenya in the distance. A game drive will follow, offering the chance to spot wildlife, including big cats like leopards, lions, or hyenas, and to track the large populations of black and white rhinos, as well as numerous bird species. As lunchtime approaches, return to the lodge for a delightful meal before preparing to head back to Nairobi. Arrive in Nairobi late in the evening, with drop-off at the hotel or airport.
