Day 1: Nairobi to Solio Ranch
Solio Game Reserve - The safari adventure begins with a pick-up by the safari driver guide from the hotel in Nairobi after breakfast. The journey proceeds to Solio Ranch, located in the expansive Laikipia Region, north of Nyeri town in Kenya’s central province. Solio Ranch is situated 180 kilometers from Nairobi. Upon arrival at the reserve, guests will enjoy lunch at the lodge, taking in the stunning panoramic views. In the afternoon, a game drive offers the opportunity to observe rhinoceroses and other wildlife such as buffaloes, giraffes, zebras, impalas, Thomson’s gazelles, and warthogs. Dinner and accommodation will be at Muringa Villa.
Day 2: Game Drive at Solio Ranch and Return to Nairobi
Nairobi - The day begins with a leisurely breakfast at the lodge, accompanied by breathtaking views of the surrounding hills and the distant, snowcapped Mount Kenya. Following breakfast, a game drive will provide the chance to spot wildlife within the reserve, including big cats like leopards, lions, or hyenas, as well as the abundant populations of black and white rhinos and various bird species. As lunchtime nears, guests will return to the lodge for a delightful meal before preparing for the journey back to Nairobi. Arrival in Nairobi is expected late in the evening, with drop-off at the hotel or airport.
