On market days, explore one of the 5-day markets, offering a glimpse into the lifestyle of the ethnic Pa-O, Danu, and Intha communities who gather to sell their goods. Enjoy a full-day boat trip on Inle Lake, a paradise for photographers, with its serene waters adorned with floating vegetation and fishing canoes, set against a backdrop of picturesque high hills. Witness the lake’s distinctive “leg rowers” – the Intha people who row standing with one leg wrapped around an oar. Pass by endless floating gardens where fruits and vegetables are cultivated. Continue by boat to visit Nga Phe Kyaung Monastery, one of the oldest on the lake, featuring ancient Buddha statues over 200 years old.
Visit Phaung Daw Oo Pagoda, the most sacred religious site in southern Shan State. Then, head to Inn Paw Khone Village to explore the Silk & Lotus Weaving Workshop, Blacksmith Workshop, and Cheroot (Burmese Cigar) Workshop.

- As you will be visiting religious sites, please wear clothes that cover your shoulders and knees, and remember to take off your shoes and socks when entering pagoda areas.
- This tour is not available during the Water Festival period between 12 to 18 Apr. During this time, everything in town is closed: restaurants, shops, markets, Museum, etc. Driving through Yangon is extremely difficult if not impossible because people celebrate the famous water-festival. You cannot avoid of getting very wet because everyone throws water at everybody. People drive through the city in open cars and there are stages along the street where people throw water. Everybody going up will get very wet.
