Sita Temple - The Sita Amman Temple, dedicated to Sita, the wife of Lord Rama, is nestled in the hills of Nuwara Eliya and holds a special place in the hearts of Hindus as it is believed to be the only temple of its kind in the world. It is located five kilometers along the road from Nuwara Eliya to Kandy. According to history, this is where King Ravana held Sita captive. An intriguing feature of the temple is the presence of footprints by the river, thought to resemble those of Hanuman.
Hakgala Botanic Gardens - Hakgala Botanical Garden is one of the five botanical gardens in Sri Lanka. The other four are Peradeniya Botanical Garden, Henarathgoda Botanical Garden, Mirijjawila Botanical Garden, and Seetawaka Botanical Garden. It is the second-largest garden in Sri Lanka.
Victoria Park of Nuwara Eliya - Victoria Park is a public park located in Nuwara Eliya, adjacent to the Nuwara Eliya Post Office in Sri Lanka. Originally, the park served as the research field for Hakgala Botanical Garden. It was officially named in 1897 to honor Queen Victoria’s Diamond Jubilee.
Gregory Lake - Gregory Lake was created in 1873 by the British-era Governor at the time, Sir William Gregory, supposedly to provide electricity. However, the lake was primarily used for leisure and recreation after its construction. At its height of popularity, Gregory Lake was the most prominent attraction in the area and served as a relaxing spot for many visitors.
Kandy Lake - Kandy Lake, also known as Kiri Muhuda or the Sea of Milk, is an artificial lake in the heart of the hill city of Kandy, Sri Lanka, constructed in 1807 by King Sri Wickrama Rajasinghe next to the Temple of the Tooth. Over the years, its size has been reduced. It is a protected lake, with fishing prohibited. There are numerous legends and folklore surrounding the lake. One such tale is that the small island at its center was used by the king’s harem for bathing and was connected to the palace by a secret tunnel.

Dambulla Cave Temple - The Dambulla Cave Temple, also known as the Golden Temple of Dambulla, is a World Heritage Site in Sri Lanka, located in the central part of the country. This site is situated 148 kilometers east of Colombo and 72 kilometers north of Kandy. Dambulla is the largest and best-preserved cave temple complex in Sri Lanka.
Sigiriya Museum - The Sigiriya Museum, known to be one of the most beautiful museums in all of South Asia, is managed by the Central Cultural Fund. This museum showcases the cultural, technological, and archaeological significance of Sigiriya. Visitors can explore three decades of archaeological research on Sigiriya.
