Hahndorf & Barossa & Maggie Beer - We did the Hahndorf & Barossa & Maggie Beers tour. A fantastic experience from start to finish. Our brilliant driver and guide, Adi, was very knowledgeable and the car very comfortable. First stop was Maggie Beers beautiful farm and shop. Next stop, the stunning Chateau Tununda winery, followed by a delicious lunch at Kies winery. The last stop was Hahndorf with its rich German history. The tour was perfectly paced and we never felt rushed. Highly recommend the tour to anyone wanting to see and experience the area .

Excellent Barossa Experience - The day was well structured, lots to see and do. Our guide, Deep was great, informative, fun and spot on with timing of everything. Spots we visited were wonderful. Large winery, then smaller family owned one. Lunch was delicious. A very enjoyable day.

Wazza was fantastic very... - Wazza was fantastic very pleasant He deserves a pay rise. Made the day a really fun experience. Went out of his way to take photos for everyone and really knows his facts about the region. Would definitely do this tour again.

First time to Barossa - Perfect way to enjoy a day out of the city. Deep was a fantastic and friendly guide, and the wineries also had great staff. Maggie Beers and Hahndorf were great to get your tourist fix, and we even had a special stop along the way!

Beautiful Stops, But Felt More Like a Shuttle Service - We were a little disappointed with this tour overall. Firstly, the driver did not get off the bus to greet us when we arrived. We actually had to step onto the bus ourselves to confirm whether it was the correct tour bus. Secondly, the driver did not introduce himself or provide any information about what to expect during the day, including travel times between stops. It quickly became obvious that this was not really a guided tour, but more of a transport service between destinations. Our first stop was Maggie Beer’s Farm Shop. We had around 30 minutes there, which was enough time if you only wanted to browse the shop or grab a takeaway item. However, if you wanted to explore the grounds properly or sit down for a coffee, it was not enough time. We then visited Chateau Tanunda, where we spent approximately 45 minutes. This felt like the right amount of time, and the wine tasting there was excellent. We were not rushed through the tastings, but we also did not have to wait long between wines. Everything flowed seamlessly. Our next stop was Kies Family Wines. Given that it was Mother’s Day, I understand they were extremely busy, but unfortunately the service was not great. We ordered a platter, which was very good, but some people’s drinks did not arrive until after lunch and just before the wine tasting started. The tasting itself was also disappointing, with long waits between wines, making it feel like an afterthought rather than a proper experience. In my opinion, 90 minutes here was more than enough for both lunch and the tasting. I would have preferred less time at Kies and more time in Hahndorf, our final stop. We arrived in Hahndorf at around 4:30 pm, and by then several shops were already closed or preparing to close. We were given only one hour there, which definitely was not enough time. We felt rushed trying to see everything. If I were to do it again, I would much rather have lunch in Hahndorf and spend more time exploring the town. Overall, the destinations themselves were enjoyable, but the tour lacked the organisation, communication, and guided experience we were expecting. Unfortunately, I would not choose this tour again.
