As I wandered through Liberty Square, the heart of the old town, I felt the pulse of history beneath my feet. The air was filled with the aroma of freshly brewed coffee from the open-air cafes, inviting me to pause and reflect.

The Petrovaradin Fortress, perched on a rock overlooking the Danube, was my next destination. Known as the “Gibraltar on the Danube,” this fortress has seen the rise and fall of empires. As I stood on the viewing platform, the city of Novi Sad spread out before me, a tapestry of past and present.
