Great day out. - What a great relaxing day. Goran is a great tour guide. Very knowledgeable. Loved the small family group. Best part of the tour was visiting proizvodnja vina Podrum PROBUS winery. Verna was a very welcoming hostess. And the wine is amazing.

Short excursion to Novi Sad - Wine and tasting with Vera was a pleasure. There was not as much to do there because the fortress was closed for an event. Weather was very warm but the car was air conditioned and comfortable.

Nice day out of Belgrade - Our guide Gorum was professional and friendly for our tour to Novi Sad and Sremski Karlovci. The stop at Podrum Probus winery was a lot of fun - Verna is a personality, the wine was tasty and unique, and it felt like we were at least somewhat off the beaten path.

Not according to advertised - If brings me no joy to offer anyone less than a 5-star view. But when I booked, the duration published was 8 hours, comparable to other tours. However when we got on, Goran told us it was 5 hours only and there was a mistake on the aviator website. He was unable to extend as he has a booking later. Midway to Novi Sad after contacting Viator, he offered to drive us back to hotel for a full refund, but we decided to keep on going and maybe take the train back later. Anyways, the tour ended up 6.5 hours (1.5 hours less then advertised). We wish we had more time in Novi Sad and Sremski which is beautiful.

Ultimate scam and not safe - I’m extremely disappointed with the Novi Grad tour we booked with this company. What was advertised as an 8‑hour, full‑day excursion turned into a rushed, poorly organized, and misleading experience that wasted our time and money. Below is a clear breakdown of what actually happened. --- Timeline of Events • 10:00 AM Departure — Our group of five left Belgrade expecting an 8‑hour tour ending around 5 PM, exactly as the website described. The listing stated a 1–1.5 hour drive each way to Novi Grad. • 10:30 AM — Only 30 minutes into the drive, the guide casually announced that the tour would not be 8 hours but only 5. He claimed the listing was a mistake and insisted the tour had always been 5 hours. He also said we needed to be back by 3 PM because he had another tour at 3:30 PM. • ~10:35 AM — We objected immediately. A 5‑hour tour with 3 hours of driving leaves only 2 hours for the actual itinerary, making it impossible to properly visit Novi Grad. The guide then gave us an ultimatum: turn around and get a refund, or continue and “deal with it.” Turning back would have ruined our day, so we felt pressured to continue. His tone was unsettling, and being stuck in a car with him made the situation feel unsafe. • ~12:00 PM — Around noon, he announced that he would “let us” stay on the original schedule — likely because we had already complained directly to Viator. • 4:30 PM — Even with the added time, we still returned at 4:30 PM. The entire tour lasted only 6.5 hours, far shorter than the promised 8‑hour excursion. --- Other Issues • Guide’s Attitude — The debate about timing and his ultimatum created a terrible mood for the entire day. I genuinely felt scared of him. He ask smoked most of the time we were outside the car. • Winery Stop — The wine tasting was at the owner’s basement cellar, which felt nothing like what was advertised. We did not step foot or see any vineyard during the tour. • Website Listing Changed — Hours after the tour, the Viator listing suddenly changed from 8 hours to 6 hours. Fortunately, we have screenshots of the original listing which I have attached. This experience was a textbook example of bait‑and‑switch. We paid for a full‑day, structured excursion and instead received a shortened, disorganized trip with an unprofessional “take it or leave it” ultimatum from the guide. I didn’t feel safe after being threatened like that. I strongly advise avoiding this tour company if you expect honesty, professionalism, or an experience that matches what you pay for. Lunch was the only decent part of the day, and it wasn’t even part of the tour- we found the restaurant ourselves during our free time. Please don’t fall for this. There were five of us traveling together. My friend left a review and the guide first responded to the review saying we were late and drunk (neither of which are true at all). And proceeded to try and remove the review.

Unacceptable Bait-and-Switch: 8-Hour Tour Cut Short & Highly Disappointing - I am incredibly disappointed with our experience booking the Novi Grad tour with Goran. This trip was advertised on the website as an 8-hour, full-day excursion. Instead, it turned into a rushed, highly frustrating bait-and-switch that fell completely short of what we paid for. Our tour departed at 10:00 AM for what was supposed to be a 1 to 1.5-hour drive each way. Just 30 minutes into the drive (around 10:30 AM), our tour guide casually informed us that the tour would actually only last 5 hours. When we expressed our shock and complained that this was not what was advertised, the guide gave us an ultimatum: we could either turn around right then, get a drop-off and a refund, or just deal with it. Turning back would have completely ruined our day in Serbia, so we felt forced to continue. The logistics of a 5-hour tour made absolutely no sense. With 3 hours of total driving time, we only had 2 hours left for the actual itinerary. This meant we couldn't actually see or experience Novi Grad at all; we were basically just expected to get out of the car briefly, go to one winery, and head back. To make matters worse, the "winery" we were taken to was highly disappointing. It wasn't a true, professional winery, but rather just the basement of a winery owner. After we complained directly to the tour operator about this terrible schedule change, the guide attempted to fix it by giving us 1.5 hours of free time to wander around on our own after lunch. However, even with this added time, we arrived back at 4:30 PM. The entire trip lasted only 6.5 hours—still cut short by an hour and a half compared to the 8 hours promised online. This was absolutely not a full-day excursion. It was a poorly managed, shortened trip with an unprofessional "take it or leave it" attitude from the start. I highly recommend avoiding this tour company if you want to actually get what you paid for.
