Beginner and intermediate surf lesson - Our instructors were exceptionally helpful and accommodating. We had a great time and would certainly book again. There are a ton of options for surf lessons in the area, and we are so grateful we found the one we did.

Vacation - Tierra Costa Nosara is very knowledgeable of the Guanacaste area. During my trip they assisted my group with surfing lessons, ATVs, fishing, accommodations and shuttles.

First time surfing - Steven was our instructor. He provided us with basic information about when it’s best to surf based on tidal cycles and where to catch the waves. His instructional techniques on how to get up on the board were easy to remember. We were actually able to get up after a few tries. We would highly recommend Steven for any beginner wanted to know the basics of surfing.

Surfing for the first time with a great teacher - Had an amazing first-time surfing experience with Viator! My instructor, Abraham, was incredible—super patient, knowledgeable, and encouraging. He broke down every step so clearly that I was able to stand up and riding waves in under an hour. Helped build great habits and made it super easy to really enjoy surfing with no prior experience. Amazing Surf Lessons! - Amazing day in the waves with Abraham and his team! 9 of us joined the lesson, including 6 teenagers and 3 adults. They paired us with 3 instructors. Playa Guiones is an amazing beach with a sandy bottom and great for beginners and experts alike. They also arranged a fishing trip for us where we caught so many fish that they cleaned for us to take home and eat!!

Unforgettable Experience! - It was a pleasure meeting both Ashley and Abraham. They are extremely helpful and knowledgeable. We booked a side by side tour with a stop at Waterfall and Sugar Cane. Abraham kept us safe the entire time. He encouraged my son to plunge into the waterfall springs. The scenery was spectacular. My brother in law also booked a surf lesson with Abraham who was patient and provided a thorough lesson. Definitely a highlight of our trip. We connected with Ashley through the Airbnb and we booked Steady as we go and she was extremely helpful in so many ways!!! So grateful to have met them both. Truly made our first trip to Costa Rica unforgettable!!!!
