Great Way to see the Northern Lights in comfort - It was a great tour despite the weather manged to get some nice photos and the scenery was lovely. It was very nice to have the option to get back on the bus when we needed to warm up a bit. The guides were really welcoming and knowledgeable.

Very good experience. - We went on the Aurora chase with Dimitar and Angel. It was very good experience, and they made all the efforts for us to be comfortable and show us the Aurora. There was a lot of cloud cover but they drove us really far inland, almost to the Finland border to find a gap in the clouds. And we did. And we received great photos from them. Thank you.

Very reliable organization for seeing the nothern light. Worth every penny - Wonderfull, very well organized tour. The tourguide was really an expert and the busdriver very experienced. Arctic Explorers was very communicative so no worries that you will miss the bus or so. We had the amazing experience of seeing the northern lights in a beautiful valley somewhere close to the border of Finland, with a warm bus to warm up every now and then and a nice campfire with some treats. The photo's made by the tourguide were a very nice gift, too! 100% super fantastic experience

You and 5 busloads of people can enjoy the Lights together! - There was no chasing the lights. They took us to spot, arrived about 7pm still overcast but expected to clear up about 9pm. It just happens to be spot where all the busses go as well. There 5 buses/250 people in the same place to see northern lights. We arrived about 7 pm,it was dark out and there was patches of icy snow and round tuffs of moss so it was difficult to move around without light. So of course everyone was using lights which blinded me wiping out my night vision making it hard to see the sky. The Northern Lights were there but very faint, at first couldn't get a picture of it. They did get a little better as the night progress but not until after 9pm. Unfortunately, we got a great string of light but we had to leave. So wonder if it would have built into a great show had we stayed 15 min longer.

Avoid this company! - We had an extremely disappointing and unacceptable experience with this company, and I feel obligated to warn other travelers. The scheduled departure time for our aurora borealis excursion was 17:30. We arrived at the agreed meeting point at 17:20, well in advance. Upon arrival, one guide instructed us to go around the corner to another location where a bus was supposedly waiting for us. We followed those instructions, but when we reached the indicated bus, the driver told us that it was not the correct one. We then walked around searching for the correct bus, asking multiple drivers and guides for assistance. Each time we received conflicting information. One guide redirected us back to the original meeting point. After going back and forth several times and receiving contradictory directions, a guide finally escorted us to one of the buses we had already checked — where passengers were already boarding — and we ended up being the last to get on due entirely to their poor organization and miscommunication. Because we boarded last, only scattered seats remained. We were traveling with a 7-year-old child, and the guides — who were notably unfriendly and unhelpful — told us that if we wanted to sit together, it was our responsibility to ask other passengers to move. This is completely unacceptable, as seating arrangements and passenger assistance should be managed by the company staff, especially when families with children are involved. To make matters worse, the staff then approached other passengers and falsely claimed that we were asking to take their seats. Since I understand English well, I immediately corrected them and explained that this was not true. Shortly afterward, we were told to get off the bus because allegedly the driver did not want to travel with us. We calmly refused, as we had done nothing wrong and had paid for the excursion. Eventually, the company manager arrived. Despite our clear explanation of the situation, the bus remained delayed, and the police were called. We were forced to leave and ultimately missed the excursion that we had already paid for. We then booked the same type of excursion with another company, where we were treated with professionalism, kindness, and respect — demonstrating that the problem was clearly not us, but the lack of organization and poor customer handling of this company. This experience was stressful, unfair, and completely avoidable. The staff showed poor communication, lack of accountability, and unacceptable customer service, especially toward a family traveling with a young child. I strongly recommend that other travelers consider alternative companies unless this organization significantly improves its professionalism, communication, and respect for clients.
