Okavango Delta - The journey begins to the Okavango Delta, where travelers will meet their local mokoro poler, who will also serve as their guide. Local mokoro community guides lead this activity, and our chef accompanies the group. Traveling by mokoro is undoubtedly the best way to experience the Okavango Delta. As you explore the waterways, you will encounter elephants, hippos, and aquatic birds along the channels. Upon arrival, the camp assistant will set up camp under a canopy of trees. After enjoying lunch, it’s time for a siesta. Tea or coffee will be served afterward.
Embark on a nature walk on the island, where you may see animals such as zebras, elephants, buffalos, impalas, giraffes, and more, depending on the day. Return to camp to freshen up and enjoy dinner around the campfire. Engage with the polers to exchange cultural experiences by the fire. Sometimes, they dance or play traditional games. It is truly an amazing experience. The last guest determines the bedtime.
