Meeting Point and Crater Rim
Mount Rinjani - The journey begins from Bangsal and proceeds to Sembalun. Before setting off, a medical check and an inventory check of necessary items will be conducted. There’s no need to worry about food and water, as everything will be provided and prepared for you. Once everything is checked, the trek from Sembalun to the Crater Rim begins. This trek will take approximately 6 hours, including stops at three different base camps for lunch and breaks. The estimated arrival time at the Crater Rim is between 4:00 PM and 5:00 PM, depending on the trekker’s pace. Upon arrival, you will be greeted by the stunning view of the magical lake (Segara Anak) and a beautiful sunset. Meanwhile, the guide and porter will set up your tent and prepare dinner, after which you can rest.
Summit and Finish
Mount Rinjani - The following day, an early start at around 2:30 AM is necessary to prepare for the ascent to the summit. A light breakfast will be provided to boost your energy. The trek from the Crater Rim to the summit takes about 3 hours, aiming to reach the summit by the golden sunrise at 6:00 AM. Upon reaching the summit, a brief stay of 15-30 minutes is recommended due to weather conditions. The descent back to the Crater Rim follows, where a light breakfast will be served before returning to the meeting point.
