Starting at 601 meters above sea level in Senaru, the trek ascends to the crater rim at 2,641 meters. Spend the night camping in a tent, and after breakfast the following day, trek back to Senaru.
Arrival Day (Day 0): Upon arrival on Lombok Island, you will be picked up and transferred to Senaru. Check into your hotel and enjoy a restful night.
Day 1: After an early breakfast, register at the Rinjani Trek Centre before beginning the trek. The trail initially winds through lush tropical forest. Rest stops are made at Pos 1 and Pos 2 for snacks and breaks. At Pos 3 (2,000 m), take a longer break for lunch. Post-lunch, continue the ascent to the crater rim. As the elevation increases, the forest gives way to grasslands, and the trail becomes steeper. Camp overnight at Senaru Crater Rim (2,641 m), where you can enjoy breathtaking views of the sunset, Mount Rinjani, the lake, and the small volcanic cone within the crater.
Day 2: Relish the sunrise and a relaxed breakfast before starting the return trek to Senaru. Take several breaks for rest and snacks along the way, with a longer lunch break at Pos 2. Arrive back in Senaru around 1 pm, where you will be transferred to your next destination.
