I would have liked to know where we could have purchased the wines. Emmie was very approachable and made the experience of wine tasting fun as it can be a bit stuffy depending upon the person running the tasting.

The tour title implies a greater, more involved experience in and of the North End. The starting point was not anywhere near a "North End" experience, and the single other venue, Artu, was lovely, but not particularly germane to the tour. The munchies were nice, but again, there was no relationship to the wine tasting, not even to discuss the food pairings. Fionna was lovely and informed, but spoke in vast generalities available though a good wine reference book or community evening class/es. Hoped for more, especially at that price.

The sommelier was superb! She was friendly, extremely knowledgeable, professional and a delight. My satisfaction rating is in regards to the second location on the wine tour - Massimino's. The experience was abysmal. It was so loud with other patrons we could not hear our sommelier. The water glasses were Bud Light glasses. The bruschetta was soggy. The wine glasses were cheap and did not suit the wine we were tasting. The overall experience felt like we were in a loud sports bar trying to have a wine tasting - it realty made things unpleasant. Compared to the other restaurants we went to it was highly disappointing. I have been to 3 other North End Wine Tours and had much better experiences when held at other locations. Again, this rating is ONLY for Massimino's and not the sommelier or other restaurants. I feel our sommelier did a superb job and I would attend other wine tastings if she were available!
