• Flatmoen - If you’re hesitant about embarking on one of our longer adventures and just want a brief experience, this trip is ideal for you.

The journey begins by entering the pasture to select a horse, bringing it back to the farm for grooming. Once ready, we venture into the woods.

You set the pace, and there’s no need to rush if you prefer a leisurely ride. The horses are extremely safe, and helmets will be provided. This is an excellent trip for beginners. We conclude the excursion with coffee and a snack on the farm porch.

Experience an authentic Arctic ranch adventure just 10 minutes from Alta City at Flatmoen Farm, nestled in serene surroundings with wilderness on three sides.

Guests will be picked up from their accommodation and taken to the farm, where they will meet the horses and learn about their unique characteristics.

The excitement begins as riders, based on their skill level, venture into the woods at a walk, trot, or gallop. The forest path, draped in snow-laden trees, offers a tranquil setting where the only sounds are the horses’ footsteps and their breath in the crisp, cold air.

These woods are renowned for their moose population, so with a bit of luck, a sighting of the majestic creature may occur.
