One day trip to Nikko - The one day trip to Nikko Toshogu was awesome, we learned about a bit of Japan's history and the difference between shrine and temple. Our tour guides Beru and Nao are very accommodating and helpful.

Highly recommended - Excellent tour, not only did we go to the locations, the whole journey Jorge was explaining us from how to eat sushi to history of the shogunate, and everything in a very fun way!! Yaguchi-san is an excellent driver, at no time did we have any sudden braking or anything and he always welcomed us in the truck with a smile.

Thank you, Beru! - We set off very early in the morning, which already made the trip special, with beautiful views of waking Tokyo and Mount Nantai in the distance. Due to expected snowfall, the itinerary was adjusted, which turned out to be a smart decision given the steep mountain roads. Flexibility here really worked in our favor. Chuzenji Lake offered lovely, serene views and felt like a peaceful escape from the city. Kegon Waterfall, while iconic, was a bit overhyped for us. It’s relatively small, though the surrounding village is charming and worth a short stop. The real highlight of the day was Toshogu Shrine in Nikko. Our guide, Beru, gave an excellent and engaging explanation of this lavish mausoleum of shogun Tokugawa Ieyasu, which added so much depth to the visit. On the way back, we unexpectedly got caught in a snowstorm, something that almost never happens in Tokyo. Despite the delay, Beru and the driver stayed calm and reassuring, giving us time to grab food and drinks and making the most of the extra hours on the bus. All in all, a well organized day with strong guiding and some unforgettable, unexpected moments.

Incorrect information - The first part of the trip was good, very good and service oriented guide, unfortunately we were informed when we were about to start the trip that one of the bigger experiences was cancelled (waterfall and lake), other organizers seem to go despite bad weather.
