Excellent tour - Excellent guided tour of Nice. Comprehensive tour with lots of great info about the city. Well worth a second or third trip. Spectacular views of the city and the bay.

Very enjoyable tour - Did this on a Sunday morning and stayed on for full loop, which is roughly an hour. Easiest puck up point to find is stop 1. Commentary is good (can select language) and enough but not too much detail. Took us high up the hills through very narrow, windy streets so total kudos to the driver for navigation!! Would recommend the top deck but fully open so dress for the weather!

Great intro into Nice - A good way to get an overview of Nice. Villafranche is very pretty. Busses are very clean. Only downside is that stops aren't that easy to identify.

Nice tour=will be dreamed - Guys, they took a good advantage of this tour in early March 2026. A polite driver. Good Wi-Fi. That's a great comment. We recommend it! Although, of course, it's up to you...

Bus top.tour Nice - Lovely.tour ..windy on the open top deck but good views... Didn't see that low season buses run 11h to 16h and not as in the summer 10h to 17h even though booking confirmation started a 10h start. Never mind we had a coffee on the Promenade des Anglais. VILLEFRANCE was worth wandering round.

Route was good but audio... - Route was good but audio often talked about things you couldn’t see. About an hour between buses was a bit long if you hop off

Not the best I’ve been on - Wanted to go to Villefranche sur la mer but didn’t want to take the local bus or the train. Didn’t expect much from this tour as it only has 12 stops taking 1 1/4 hours. Walked to the first stop where the office is supposed to be located. Nothing there. Saw a few other people gathered, no one knew where to ‘hop on ‘. Saw a bus down the road, we all got on. Poorly marked signage. It was nice to be driven around Nice and out to Villefranche and the taped commentary was good, lots of historical facts, but could not figure out what we were supposed to be looking at. Oh well. Hopped off at the Villefranche Citadel, wandered around then walked down to the beachside restaurants. Pricey!!! Saw Lou Bantry brasserie with lots of people at the tables. Ate there. Walked back up to the Citadel, waited for the bus, back on, back off at stop 1 where we all had to get off. It wasn’t a bad tour but probably not worth the price. The bus comes by only every hour. Long wait if you miss one. Note - the first bus in the winter is at 11:00 AM not 10:00 AM as stated on their website. Good driver.

Could not get on it !!! - We arrived to Nice ville railway station and were looking for the bus stop where to hop on however there was no signs for the bus. We stood on a bus stop in front of the station and saw the bus coming only to find out that it had stopped earlier away from the station and then wouldn’t stop for us. Fine we waited at the right stop for about an hour and another bus came but this time it didn’t stop for us despite us waving at it - the driver just indicated arm movement behind. No bus came and we gave up. There’s no clear signs, no timetable or indication about the timings and you can’t track them either what a waste of time !!!!

Save your money and get a normal bus day pass instead - Despite reading the reviews, I decided to take a risk and go on this HO HO bus tour anyway and as I have chronic fatigue and arthritis, I thought it would save at least some walking. In winter, it only operates for 5 hours, which I knew. But we decided to sit on the bus for a complete circuit and then decide where we wanted to get off. We left from stop 1 at 11am and arrived back there at 12.07pm to be told that the next bus was at 1pm. So we wandered around the market and then got back on the bus at 12.50pm when the driver came back. We got off at the citadel in Villefranche-sur-Mer at 1.45pm and had a wander around that and down to the port. We arrived back at the bus stop at 2.45pm to find no timetable. We figured that we had just missed a bus but were then worried that with the buses stopping at 4pm, there might not be another one and with no timetable, we had no way of knowing. So we got a normal bus back to Nice. And honestly, as long as you could see out of a window, the HO HO bus wasn’t much better. We would have been much better just deciding where we wanted to go that day and bought a 7EUR day pass instead. Horses for courses but we felt that this was a total waste of money for us.
