As a retired teacher with a penchant for road trips, I often find myself yearning for the open road and the adventures it promises. This time, my husband and I decided to explore the Midwest, a region that holds a special place in my heart. Our destination was the Menominee River, where we planned to experience the Whitewater Rafting adventure. The drive to the Menominee resort was a nostalgic journey through country roads, reminiscent of the road trips I took with my family in my youth.
