Just as described on viator. - Just as described on viator. And the fireworks at 8pm add a great finishing touch. Buying tickets ahead was a great idea, though not required.

Wow. The Skylon tower... - Wow. The Skylon tower experience is spectacular. Gives you a 360 panoramic view of Niagara Falls. It's amazing at night with all the Christmas decorations at the falls enclave. A sight to behold. To crown it all, enjoy the undescribable dinning experience at the Revolving Dinning in the tower. I didn't know I had to resolve a table but they were kind to sort t us out with one. The chefs are super good, every meal was excellent and I would go there again and again and again. Remember to reserve a table at the Revolving Dinning before you go to make it easier for you. It's so beautiful at Christmas. I loved it.

Incredible views, but the experience feels dated and overcrowded - Whenever I visit a city with an observation tower, I make a point of going up, so a visit to the Skylon Tower was always on my list. From the moment I walked in, the experience felt extremely dated. Parts of the main and lower floors were closed or blocked off, several shops were empty, and the lower level was largely made up of old amusement arcade games that had clearly seen far better days. Overall, it felt tired and, at times, a little uncomfortable. While lining up for the elevator, there was a strong push to have your photo taken to be morphed into a novelty souvenir. I declined multiple times before eventually just stepping into the queue, which felt unnecessarily awkward. Once at the top, the views are undeniably incredible. Seeing Niagara Falls from above is impressive and worth experiencing at least once. That said, it was extremely crowded. Moving around the observation level meant constantly weaving through large groups and loiterers, which quickly became frustrating. People were sitting on informational signage, making it hard to read, and some signs were missing letters or clearly out of date. One wall display even referenced Prince Andrew in a way that should have been removed long ago. I genuinely appreciated the views I did get to see, but the overall experience would benefit greatly from better crowd management. Limiting the number of people allowed up at once, or creating a guided flow around the interior viewing area for those interested in the information, then allowing free movement on the outdoor deck, would significantly improve things. Overall, the Skylon Tower feels like a place in need of a serious refresh, which unfortunately seems to be a recurring theme around Niagara Falls. Staff were present throughout, but interactions felt either overly forced or disengaged, which added to the awkwardness rather than enhancing the visit. If you’re going purely for the view, it delivers. If you’re expecting a polished, modern observation experience, you may leave feeling underwhelmed.

Great view, but not contemporary - The Skylon Tower is quite okay, but overall rather mediocre. The view from above is beautiful and you have a good view of Niagara Falls and the surrounding area, but the experience is significantly impaired by the cheap wire mesh grids. These not only interfere with photography, but also take away much of the view's appeal. You can also tell that the whole facility is getting old. Much of it seems old and not particularly modern or appealing. If you have never been up, you can take a look at it, but you should not have great expectations.

Tired and Old - We were expecting a similar experience to the CN Tower, it wasn’t like that at all. We entered the building through an arcade/games area that felt very dated and rundown. None of the food places looked like they’d been open in years. Observation deck felt old and tired. We loved the information plaques around the inside deck though.
