Originally named Dang Long Tu, Long Son Pagoda is located at 22 October 23 Street in the Phuong Son ward, nestled at the base of Trai Thuy Mountain, just 400 meters west of the railway station.
The pagoda was established on a different hill in 1886 under the leadership of Thích Ngộ Chí (1856–1935), who was from Vinh Xuong district in Khánh Hòa Province. Prior to joining the sangha, he was involved in anti-French resistance efforts aimed at restoring Vietnamese independence.

National Oceanographic Museum of Vietnam - Established by the French in 1923, the Nha Trang Institute of Oceanography is located in an area with Vietnam’s most diverse marine life. The Museum of Oceanography is an integral part of the Institute, with nearly a century of history and development.
Housed in an impressive French-colonial building in southern Nha Trang, this museum features around 60,000 jars of preserved marine specimens, stuffed birds and sea mammals, and exhibits of local boats and fishing artifacts. While there are tanks with reef fish and sharks, the rescued seals and marine turtles are unfortunately kept in very small enclosures.
