1. Museum Of Oceanography
Explore the Museum Of Oceanography, home to over 20,000 specimens of 4,000 marine creatures and a massive whale skeleton nearly 18m long and 3m high. The Museum Of Oceanography Nha Trang is a premier marine research institute in Southeast Asia, preserving thousands of marine species specimens.
2. Hòn Chồng
Hon Chong Promontory features a vast area of uniquely shaped rocks along the shore, surrounded by mountains and highlighted by a tranquil beach with a stunning shade of gentle blue. Hon Chong Promontory consists of two rock clusters: Hon Chong (“Husband” in Vietnamese) and Hon Vo (“Wife” in Vietnamese). The larger Hon Chong cluster showcases an intriguing giant five-fingered hand embedded in a boulder.
3. Nhà thờ Núi
Nha Trang Stone Church spans 720m2 in a gothic style. Its most notable feature is the wide, skyward-pointing curved arch-shaped zone. Constructed with reinforced concrete and split rocks, the church’s layout is solid and steady, with small cubes gradually rising from low to high. The church’s highest point is the bell tower, standing 38m high from the pavement.
4. Ponagar Temple
The Po Nagar Towers are a temple complex built around 781 A.D. Their distinctive architecture and art style have spread widely across Vietnam. It is also a significant religious structure for Nha Trang locals. The tower’s overall architecture is a masterpiece, featuring stairs, wall steps, and sculptures that reflect the ancient Cham Kingdom’s heyday.
