Ha Giang - Quan Ba - Yen Minh - Dong Van

Dong Van - The tour begins at 8:30 am, with a pick-up from your hotel or hostel in Ha Giang or from the bus station. The journey will take you across Bac Sum Pass, with stops at scenic viewpoints for photos. After a brief coffee break, the tour continues towards Yen Minh, where a delightful lunch awaits. The drive then proceeds to Dong Van, a significant geoheritage site in Vietnam, known as the Dong Van Karst Plateau. Here, you will witness endless rice fields, numerous limestone formations, and stunning vistas. Experience the vibrant life of hill-tribe villages, where locals diligently work the land. Just 18km from Dong Van Town, a visit to the Hmong King’s Palace, home to the Vuong family in Sa Phin, is included. Arrival in Dong Van is scheduled for late afternoon, perfect for enjoying a delicious dinner and some “happy water” after a day full of adventures. In the evening, explore the town or relax at your hotel or a charming homestay.

Dong Van - Ma Pi Leng Pass - Meo Vac - Du Gia Village

Du Gia - After breakfast, the journey continues from Dong Van Town to the most picturesque part of the trip, located on the Happiness Road connecting Dong Van and Meo Vac, Ma Pi Leng Pass. This legendary pass is renowned for its rugged cliffs and breathtaking views, often hailed as the “king” of Vietnam’s passes. The road winds through cliffs, ascending Ma Pi Leng Pass at altitudes between 1,400m and 1,800m. From the spectacular mountain viewpoint, you can see the Nho Que River flowing through one of Vietnam’s highest canyons, offering unforgettable photo opportunities. The journey proceeds to more remote villages, providing insight into life in Vietnam’s distant regions. A stop at Mau Due for lunch and a break is included. The day concludes with a drive through various villages, an overnight stay at a homestay with a Tay Minority Family, and a delightful dinner with “happy water.”

Du Gia - Duong Thuong Village - Ha Giang City

Ha Giang - After breakfast and bidding farewell to the homestay hosts, the journey continues, promising more awe-inspiring natural beauty and landscapes. The final day involves a return trip to Ha Giang, but the attractions don’t end there! The route includes a crossing of a mountain waterfall on the way to Ha Giang. Arrival is timed for convenient bus or limousine connections back to Hanoi, or you may opt for a night bus back to Hanoi.
