The scale is breathtaking, as wooden staircases plunge into a cathedral-like space with vast alien-looking stalagmites and stalactites. Get here early to beat the crowds, as during peak times (early afternoon) tour guides shepherd groups using megaphones. Paradise Cave is about 14km southwest of Son Trach. From the buggie drop-off, it’s a further 600m-plus sweaty climb up to the cave entrance. To explore deep inside the cave beyond the barrier at the end and with luck see the eyeless cave fish that are part of its ecosystem - Phong Nha - 12:30 Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant in Phong Nha village - Phong Nha Cave - After lunch. You will leaving Paradise cave to explore the most impressive Phong Nha cave. You will take a boat to cruise on Son river about 25 minute to the Phong Nha cave. While on the boat you will see the greenfield, people, houses and limestone along the river. Arrive in Phong Nha and start visiting, this cave is a water cave and famous for its rock formation which has been given names such as the “Lion”, the “Fairy Caves”, the “Royal Court”, and the “Buddha”. As the boats reach the caves they queue up, entering only one or two at a time. Engines die and the operators drag them along with long poles, slowly and methodically spearing them into the murky water. Once past the entrance, the immense cavern opens up. Giant stalactite chandeliers hang down from the ceiling. Without prodding or asking, everyone falls silent as eyes gaze up and the stone cathedral’s grandeur spills out. It’s a spectacular sight. - Dong Hoi - 16:00 Come back the vehicle for leaving Phong Nha. Group go back to Dong Hoi for drop off at your hotels/places. Around 17:30 we drop you off. End of the trip.

Amazing cave experience - We had an amazing time on this tour, the caves are a must see. The tour guide was excellent and made sure everyone was well looked after, lunch was delicious, and we had plenty of time to explore the caves. Recommended to wear sensible shoes (eg runners) if it's wet and the wooden boardwalks can be slippery. Highly recommended experience for anyone who wants to see and learn about the caves

Very enjoyable and worthwhile experience - A very enjoyable and worthwhile experience . We had Quien as our guide. She was welcoming, informative and helpful. Reliable pick up from your accommodation in Phong Nha or nearby farmstay, if not listed you can specify when booking.
The tour allows plenty of time to look at a 1 km stretch of Paradise cave and for a boat ride along the river into Phong Nha cave. Both caves are spectacular and each has a fascinating history. We had a scenic trip to and from each cave through jungle, farming region and town with the guide providing interesting commentary about the region and history. Lunch provided consists of a generous range of delicious dishes to share. No chance of leaving hungry

Magnificent caves - These caves are magnificent. In some parts you cannot but feel as if you are inside of a beautiful and serene cathedral. Nature is the best architect of all. Our trip was extremely well organised starting from hotel pick up and ending with hotel drop off, and everyone involved (the guide, driver, boatwomen...) did excellent work! Also, lunch at the local restaurant was delicious. I would highly recommend this tour.
