Tour was full of information about Newport history - just what we wanted! PA system not the best, but understood most. Thanks for providing the opportunity.
Tour director was very pleasant and knowledgeable. But we had a lot of difficulty hearing him. We think the problem was the audio system, not him. Other than that, the tour was good.
I loved everything about the tour, except that the guide was hard to understand at times. He showed genuine interest and excitement in the places he was talking about, but spoke very quickly and did not always enunciate. I understand the need to jam as much info in 90 minutes as possible, and to do so one has to talk pretty fast, but it would have been great if he were more clear. Words kind of blended together.
James was very informative and engaging. Comfortable trolley. Fair price. Already have recommended to others.
The narrator was excellent but I was not able to take pictures because the trolley was enclosed and there was such a glare with the windows. I thought it was an open air trolley. We only stopped once to get out and take a photo, so if you want to take photos along the wonderful route, this is not the tour to take.
The guide/driver was very knowledgeable about Newport and very enthusiastic in telling his passengers about. I saw what I wanted to see and learned a lot about it.
Suppose to be 2 hours--was only 90 miniutes
Tour was great and so was the guide, but you should really not overbook or require single riders to share a row with someone else. My partner and I were split up at first because two single riders refused to sit together. Then, we ended up sitting together in the very back which was slightly uncomfortable.
Loved the driver who knew all the history of Newport
It was a relaxing and informative drive. My wife enjoyed it very much.
driver was great - lots of info and extra info as he was a life long resident !!
We enjoyed our tour, trolley was clean and comfortable. Driver was knowledgable. Was hoping to see more of the mansions.
Our tour guide really brought old Newport to life at every stop. Wonderful tour!
I didn't actually get to go on the scenic tour. I was running late that morning. However, your website is convenient and well structured. Hopefully I will get another chance to actually go on a trolley tour with your company in the future.
Tour man very interesting and so personable. He really knew his history.
We loved our tour guide, Ann!
What an interesting tour! Thank you for such an experienced tour guide. We were a group of almost 20, and we all had a great time.
Jim is awesome! He is very knowledgeable of the Newport area and has an engaging personality. I would have given 5 stars if the trolley had AC. Aside from that, Jim was so worth the tour.
