Ella Rose was engaging... - Ella Rose was engaging and informative about the history of the Newport homes. Ran over a bit due to traffic but dropped us off at pier so we didn’t risk missing our ship. Fantastic tour!

Definitely tour the Mansions - We had went on this tour October of last year and it was really cool. We went inside of the mansions and drove around the block. Really probably the best way to see that side of Newport besides driving yourself. Very cool though, I really loved Newport.

Ella Rose is the best! - Ella Rose is an incredible tour guide. We were amazed at her detailed knowledge of Newport and a plethora of people. She was entertaining, enthusiastic and fun. I recommend this tour to anyone who wants the History of Newport and tour The Elms. Highly recommend!

Thank you Lady Ella Rose!! - If I could give lady Ella Rose 10 stars I would! She is incredibly nice, helpful and thoughtful. First I found this tour to be informative, and at the perfect pace to where we could actually see what she was saying, and pointing to, and could understand what she was saying. When she would point something out to us, we could actually see it and understand what she was talking about for example with the nine chimneys on top of one house. She was just as informative as our tour from the day before. Another bonus here is we actually got to stop and get off at the state park I think it was which was a lovely rest stop, beautiful for picture taking and a wonderful breeze. Our tour was small, which I especially loved. Her bus was the perfect temperature. She kept telling us that it could get very cold in there, but we all found it perfect. The tour remained within the time limit, which was great and now here is where she gets all the stars from me. After we left the Elms, I realized that my iPad was missing. My partner had left it at the Elms when I stopped in the bathroom. Lady Ella Rose asked the other tour guest if she was OK with it and she turned the whole bus around just for me and my stupid iPad! All the things I pointed out previously, and this incident are things that did not happen on the other tour we took the day prior. I only bring this up because my partner pointed out later that the other tour we took absolutely would not have turned around and it would’ve been too bad so sad situation. I also say that to no information was sacrificed or reduced simply because she was taking her time and letting us look. I have a direct comparison. Anyway, She was so concerned and did that for me and I could not be more grateful. The iPad wasn’t recovered until later in the day, but the fact that she even turned around, made me forever grateful to her. And the cherry on top, she even followed up with me the next day to see if it had been recovered, which I had meant to do myself when it was recovered that night, but it was just so chaotic and so much going on being on vacation. I cannot recommend this experience enough. Bonus, she is dressed up quite lovely like a Gilded Lady and I wish I had thought to take a picture with her. She also gives the ladies hand fans and the gentlemen mustaches lol. Nice touch Thank you ! thank you again!

Will recommend to all of our friends - Our guide, Miss Ella Rose, was fabulous! She was very knowledgeable and made it fun. We had the perfect amount of time to tour The Elms. We left feeling that we got so much out of the tour and you couldn’t beat the price!

She'll happily tell you about favorite places to visit and how to spend your time in Newport. The van was comfortable and she gave us ample time at the Elms.
