I wasn't aware that this was the very first tour of this new series. While I really enjoyed the information, I think it still needs some work to fully gel and set the theme and the works reviewed. It obvious our guide was very knowledgeable, but I think the tour would be better with a more structured presentation. I most appreciated the idea of "what you see isn't always what was going on." But I think setting the "what we see" fully, with the context of what the casual viewer might get without knowing more, would make the reveal of the "what was going on" behind it even stronger. And while the tour was for a more liberal crowd, I'd suggest the guide leave judgmental commentary out of the presentation. Just tell us what's going on without ascribing personal sentiment, pro or con. This is a fun series and I'm interested in some of the other tours. Until this particular tour is more settled though, I don't think the cost is quite worth the value.
