It was a pretty basic tour - didn't add much that we would not have learned wandering around on our own. I suggest confining future tours to Tribeca - the first 30 minutes were devoted to the Municipal Building, Tweed Court House, Woolworth Building, Daily Sun building - all very familiar to us already, and not in Tribeca. We also remained pretty much stationary listening to the guide for the first 30 minutes or so, too much "talking" in one place for a "walking" tour. Also, it would be interesting to describe the colorful history/evolution of the neighborhood beyond isolated facts about individual buildings. One thing we did that I really did appreciate was ducking into a bakery - the Duane Park Patisserie and Ring Ding Bar - that I've walked by hundreds of times but never noticed. It was great! The last site, one of Frederick Douglass' stops on the Underground Railroad, was also new to me.
