I went on the PA Wine tour where we learned about the different wines and I felt like we were taken care of so I assumed the LI tour would be similar, if not better due to the higher prices. None of the wineries except the last one gave a decent explanation of the wines. We were just given four different wines at the same time and just drank at our pace with the same cheese and bread for our dirt spot (for the PA tour, we’re given new wine and a new food to try with the wine and I was expecting something similar to that). For the second place, the worker was overworked and rushed so we weren’t given a proper amount Of wine in each glass and he poured new wine in old glasses. The last winery was the best, with great explanation and decent amount of wine. Overall, it felt like a waste of money and time.

I was disappointed because I thought it would be more educational about the wine making process - I expected a short tour of a winery, explanation of stainless steel aging, barrel aging -- like other winery tours I've been on. This is more of a drinking expedition. Offer the option of a tour with short lecture at 1 of the 3 wineries - i'm sure some of your clients who are not heavy drinkers would appreciate the information.

I start by saying I have been out with Sourced Adventure outtings multiple times and have never had a negative experience. On this trip however, the guide was awful. Firstly she did the minium amount of guidance possible and the entire trip she was off in a corner making out with her boyfriend and drinking. We could never find her when we had questions and for some of the trip we were confused on where we were to go for the tastings. In addition she was extremely disengaged from her duties as guide during the 1st tasting. My group (4 working professionals) all went to the bathroom once we got off the bus at the 1st winery, then proceeded to the private tasting room. I was the last to arrive. I walk in to find my friends all standing waiting to be seated while everyone is already seated and the demonstration is going on. The guide looked at our group standing and turned away and continued to inhale her wine. I took charge and told my group to sit at another table. We needed to this as there were NOT ENOUGH SEATS FOR THE 4 OF US. Even if we were the 1st to arrive in the tasting room there still would have been 4 people without places. In addition the table was not set up with wine tastings or food or water. We sat there staring at the guide while the demonstration continued. After it was finished i went to the guide. I asked that we get the same items as the other tables. The guide instead of helping to fix our placement issue told us to split up and sit in other places. I explained to her that there were not enough seats for us. She just looked at me. I waited and she did nothing. So i took it upon myself to ask the person demonstrating to kindly provide us with the purchased tastings and food. She said the food ran out and there were not enough plates for us. She gave us the wine tastings and I took it upon myself to ask the tables to take the dishes from under the water contains and made 4 plates of food for my friends from the other table's food plates and I while the guide MADE OUT WITH HER BOYFRIEND and GIGGLED WITH THE OTHER TOUR PARTICIPANTS. I AM FURIOUS with the level of service of this person. By the last winery she couldnt remember how many of us were on the bus so she asked us if we were missing anyone. We almost left a couple before 1 person mentioned that she thought there was someone missing. How hard is it to do a headcount at the beginning of the trip and a headcount at the end? Perhapes she should not have been on a date and drunk during work. I will continue to patron this company however I am extremely dissappointed with this tour and it discouraged my friends from wanting to go on another trip with Sourced Adventures . Thank you. Ingrid
