Great for locals and tourists alike - A fun, wry, and informative tour, as well as a nice way to contemplate the Upper East Side. It's engaging enough to not even need the tour aspect, but then you'd miss all the architecture. I'd love to do the rest of them.

An awesome tour in New York City - A really sensational tour from start to finish with our tour guide Krombie. She is so engaging, and her depth of knowledge and background of historical facts is so comprehensive. Truly a historian, sharing her knowledge in the most exceptional way. Highly recommend this tour to anyone who has any interest in aspects not commonly known and wants to enjoy a super experience in New York. Excellent!

Eclectic and unique tours - This tour was extremely unique, eclectic and fascinating. I am a native New Yorker and pride myself on knowing a lot about this town but I definitely learned new things on this tour. The guide’s presentation style was very engaging and fun. The tour and guide were extremely well organized. I can’t wait to do the other tours offered.

Memorable tour - Very unusual, informative tour. I live in the area, and didn't know most of the historical facts about some places I walk by every day. Highly recommended!

Best way to spend 2 hours in NYC - Krombe was such a laugh and more importantly so interesting. She knows so much about the psychological history of New York. Whenever I’m back in New York I’m certainly going to book another of her tours and pick up her book from Barnes and Noble in the meantime. I really hope everyone who’s considering the tour goes on it!

An unlikely tour subject and an exceptional tour - The Psychiatry in New York Tour was exceptional. One of the best walking tours I've ever done, and I've done plenty. Full of interesting information, beautifully delivered by Krombie. I'm amazed that she could put the information together so well and make it so interesting, and doubly amazed that she could map it all out in a single section of the City. It was everything a tour and tour guide should be.

Fantastic tours with engaging tour leader! - Fantastic tour! Very interesting and well presented into, tour guide was very knowledgeable and engaging. Started near Gracie Mansion area, the Carl Shurtz Park and view of Hell's Gate and the tip of Roosevelt Island is amazing. Recommended for adults, anyone with an interest in the history of NYC and treatment/trends and evolution of Psychiatric and mental health care throughout the last 200 years to the present day and not well known scandals, behind the scenes stories. Also recommended is the Outlaws of New York tour, very fascinating! You will love the presentation. It was entertaining and intriguing for adults with an interest in the real history of NYC.
