Fantastic tour, would absolutely recommend - We had a great tour with Zim! She chose several excellent locations for us to practice techniques, and was very detailed in explaining what she looks for in a picture and how to utilize our cameras for any situation! Would definitely recommend this for anyone who has any interest in photography.

Amazing photography session - I did a photography session with Zim today and it was absolutely fantastic. She is incredibly knowledgeable and explained things in a way that made it easy to understand and immediately put into practice. Zim helped me compose better photos and showed me how to really get the most out of my camera.
We spent the session walking around the area near Rockefeller Center, photographing buildings, the subway, and other iconic New York scenes while chatting and learning along the way. It was relaxed, fun, and packed with useful tips that made a real difference to my photography.
I would highly recommend this tour to anyone wanting to improve their photography while exploring New York. It was a brilliant experience!

Great tips! Great People! - Both Rob and Bruce were thoughtful and kind. They clearly knew their stuff. My group of students were exhausted when we arrived to this tour and Rob and Bruce were so patient and met them where they were. They gave several tips to students with great cameras and others that were just using their phones. Would definitely book this again!

Tactful advice and unique city insights - Their tours not only give unique perspectives for well-known sites, but the guides are excellent at providing just the right level of guidance for every level of photographer. For example, everyone has taken pix of the Brooklyn Bridge, but almost nobody knows the right spot downriver to get just the right framing. And the guide tactfully provides suggestions and advice. Mine was a night time tour which requires careful settings, and they explain the options while allowing you to experiment. This is our second tour with NYC Photo Safari, and I would gladly do it again.

Wonderful very informative - Pilar was wonderful she took us to Roosevelt Island. She helped us with our composition and settings on our camera to take the best shots. Throughly recommend this tour.

Awesome Workshop Class around Grand Central! - David gave myself and my wife a great educational tour of not only how to use our cameras to take great pictures around Grand Central but also provided a great historical perspective of the buildings around us. He very knowledgeable in helping us in maximizing the full potential of our cameras and had us native New Yorkers enjoying taking pictures of our hometown. We would definitely recommend him to our friends and would love to take another workshop with him in the summer!

1000% worth it!! - Zim was fantastic!! It was our first introduction to really shooting with a high quality camera and Zim was the best instructor we could have dreamed of. Not only did we get a bunch of amazing shots in Africa as a result, but we also really upped our selfie game!
