Great price, great instruction, great experience. - I could not be happier with my experience with Picture the City. Pilar met me on time, discussed my goals for the experience, and we got going promptly. I brought a VERY old camera but she was patient and encouraging as she showed me how to use it. She took me to a spot I’d never been and I got some great shots for a beginner, if I do say so myself. She confessed at the end of our time that she was a little under the weather. I never would’ve know it. I definitely got my full two hours worth. 10/10 would recommend!

Great tour that will lift your camera skills. - Fantastic experience today, we both really learnt a great deal. We chose to explore the Brooklyn Bridge and Dumbo area and had a fantastic time learning about how to use the cameras, adjust our angles and capture more meaningful moments. Pilar is a very patient coach, very willing to share her knowledge and experience and an absolutely delightful companion. Thoroughly recommend this tour.

It was absolutely... - It was absolutely amazing! Pillar was so sweet and knowledgeable and gave so much depth into what photography can be about! She’s a great company and can never leave a moment boring! Will try to do another one soon when I’m NYC! A must try ❤️❤️❤️

Picture the City with Pilar was fantastic and enjoyable, she certainly captures street photography in a unique way. - Pilar shared her knowledge and took us to places worth photographing. Fun tour of NYC - My friends and I had a fun time doing this tour with Pilar. We got to explore New York and get to know more about this big city, while also learning a thing or two about photography. We got great photos of all the big spots and got a ton of comments from friends when we posted them online. Thanks for the tour!

Perfect Birthday Surprise - I planned this tour for my boyfriend’s birthday. He is just starting to get into photography and I wanted to surprise him with a photography tour. Pilar helped me pick out a great spot in the city to take photographs of items he liked (abandoned buildings, skylines, and nature). She talked to him about different features, lenses and cameras. She encouraged him to look for unique angles and characteristics of what he saw. He had so much fun. In addition, she gave us (but mostly me as he was taking pictures) information about the city and its history. Definitely recommend for photography enthusiasts. I took some pictures with my phone but nothing as good as my boyfriend took.
