Thorough introduction to the Cosa Nostra - Former NYPD officer Frank did a fantastic job of painting the picture of how the crime families rose to prominence in the early 1900s. We started our tour where it all began at John’s on 12th Street restaurant. We proceeded to walk to key locations where the families operated, while Frank described how the Cosa Nostra evolved through the years.

Jaye was the best tour... - Jaye was the best tour guide I have been on. She was well versed in the stories of the mafia. She knew the history of the families and showed us the actual locations where various events happened. Everyone should take this tour with Jaye. She has unlimited knowledge of the families and the history of the area. I can't stress enough how much I enjoyed the tour.

Jay - Incredible tour!!!! - This was a great tour, knowing all the ins and outs of the Italian Mafia living in in Little Italy. Jay was incredible and a great asset to the the places she knew and worked. The food was amazing at John’s and the dessert shop. Highly recommend the tour. Helen, Kristie and Tracy.

Highly recommend!!! - Awesome experience. I thoroughly enjoyed the tour and learning about the mafia. Our tour host kept everything super entertaining and I loved how he was able to tie in law enforcement history alongside mafia facts. Loved the whole thing!

Super disappointing visit, will never do it again - On a technical point, that tour would benefit for audioguides to carry the guide’s voice better. They cannot be yelling in the middle of the street. Other than that, our guide spent too much time talking about herself and not about the mafia. Whenever a question was brought up about the mafia (by something she said, like something as simple as mentioning the 5 mafia families), our tour guide had no answer and opened Wikipedia. She then proceeded in reading that page out loud. There was very little knowledge shared during that tour that made it relevant or worth our money. It was so lame people started leaving during the tour. Security wise, she also started crossing the street in the most random manner, was not waiting for the group. We almost lost her twice. It is impossible to walk fast in New York when it’s a group of 30 people on average around 60 years old. She kept going on about how jaywalking is legal - but it sure as hell is scary when not from New York and especially not when she isn’t waiting for her group. This was a Christmas gift for my partner and I am extremely disappointed. Would never pay that ever again and strongly not recommend.

Not worth the cost - Overall not worth the price. The food at the restaurant was good, but the tour was very unorganized and overcrowded. Our tour guide stopped frequently to talk about topics she was not well versed in. She wanted us to ask questions and then often was unable to answer our questions. The walk from the restaurant to Mulberry street took over 2 hours. We ended up leaving the tour early without getting our cannoli because it was so boring.
