Best Tour and Guide in NYC! - We were picked up right from our hotel lobby and toured the city in a luxurious, air-conditioned Sprinter van (perfect for a hot June day). With two teenagers and a toddler in tow, Sheldon did an incredible job curating stops that kept everyone engaged and excited. The tour was rich with history and fascinating facts, a fantastic way to kick off our first day in the city. By the next day, we felt more confident and informed exploring on our own. Highly recommend!

This was our top experience in the city. - We truly loved this tour. Berenice and Alex were the best guides ever. They are so savvy about little gems hidden along the way. Even though I had been in NYC several times before, to see it through Berenice's eyes was a completely different and amazing surprise. They were so punctual. Alex is such a great driver and a gentleman (at the moment when the tour ended, it was raining and he was kind enough to give us an umbrella as a token of appreciation). My wife and I felt secure, very pampered. The whole tour flew by, for we were having so much fun. Unlike other tour guides, when presented with the challenge of seeing things that are not the usual path, Berenice had a plethora of different options to see that were not "the tourist" things to see. They both had a great knowledge of the city and told us many fun, intriguing, and engaging stories about buildings, celebrities, factoids, and history bits. We explored Central park, mid town, wall street (yes, the fearless girl), and finished our tour at Dumbo. When you come to the city, they are your best bet to get to see, to know, and to have so much fun and love driving around. Such wonderful guides. We love you guys!

Best New York Tours really is The BEST! - Best New York City Tours really is the BEST! We were in town for My daughter's wedding and several family members who had never been to NYC wanted to do a tour. I have done several tours and come to NYC all the time. However I would say this tour company is the best one I have tried. Sheldon was so knowledgeable and very engaging to listen to. I thought I knew a lot about the city until I went in this tour. I really learned a lot more. Our tour guide Sheldon was also very good at keeping the children we had with us interested. The tour company worked with us to fit as much into our tour on our limited schedule. Since we had the wedding rehearsal that evening we opted for the four hour tour. I learned and saw a lot in those four hours. I could have stayed for another four if we had time! We saw many of the traditional sites such as Empire State Building Ground zero etc. but also saw several lesser known places such as. France's Tavern. Sheldon will work with you on a schedule that fits your needs. He was also very accompanying when we kept add to our numbers and changing our times. Also the tour van picked us and dropped us off at our hotel so we didn't have to use subway or taxi to get into city! Don't hesitate to give them a call. I think you will be glad you did.

Great Great Great Tour! Thank you Sheldon - I called and spoke with Sheldon with Best New York Tours before booking. After that conversation I was convinced that's who we wanted to see New York with....and he did not disappoint. Our driver was Gee and Sheldon was our personal guide. A private tour, took his time, asked where we wanted to go and then we let him take over. Not a worry in the world but to sit back and enjoy the ride. Honestly this was the highlight of our trip!

Don’t forget to hold on to your jaw! - We felt so fancy when Gee pulled up in his Black SUV and took us all around town! Having a 7 year old minimal walking was key! He couldn’t have been more patient with my daughter and he messy eating in his car. Sheldon was the most knowledgeable, whitty and insightful tour guide we have ever had! We love private tours like this. He made it all about what we wanted to see, kept us engaged, even the 7year old. We were picking our jaws up off the ground and giggling all day at the sights and stories! Not to mention Sheldon instill confidence in 3 Indiana girls that were scared to take the subway… we ended up doing it multiple times alone!

Excellent Tour - This was an excellent tour. Chris was immensely informed about NYC. He was very entertaining and interesting. We saw and learned so much. G was an excellent and patient driver as well. I can't say enough about the tour and would highly recommend it.

Amazing Tour of Brooklyn! - My family of five toured Brooklyn with Sheldon over Spring Break in March 2025. This was an amazing tour!! With all honesty, I can say this has been the best tour that I have ever been on!! He picked us up at our hotel in a private van. He actually took the time to meet us in our hotel lobby too. Sheldon showed us parts of Brooklyn that many locals don't realize are there. He was great with my children too by keeping it interesting and asking them questions. His sense of humor and wit really add to the tour. Sheldon is passionate about touring and loves America; it showed in his tour. We saw Coney Island, ate a hot dog at Nathan's, saw the lower Manhattan skyline from a promenade of Brooklyn surrounded by Brownstones, Sheep's Head Bay, a little Russian neighborhood with signs still in Russian, Green Wood cemetery, and so much more. I now want to return to Brooklyn because there is so much more to see there than we realized. My kids talked about this tour all the way home. I can't recommend Sheldon enough. Thank you for a great tour.

Premium Tour for Couples, Families, you name it. This is the customized day trip you've never had. Highly recommend. - Just have to say that I do a LOT of traveling, and have been to NYC dozens of times. We wanted a way to extend our weekend and see some of the little known spots, and learn things about the city we had not before. Wow, with Chris, we were NOT disappointed!! We had the best time! Chris seemed to know everything about the city, and shared as we drove by them or waled around them....in a way that was just plain fun. I'd highly recommed this as a premium tour. It's not your usual, orchestrated day trip. It's a bespoke, highly personal, and very professional view of the city. Thank you Chris (and Gregory our driver!). Wonderful way to spend a day.
