Definitely Recommend - This is a tailored tour based on the interest of the group. Annabelle was knowledgeable and engaging on a personal level. She made connections to historical events and present day life styles. Just a short while into the tour you forget you are not just strolling around with a architecturally passionate friend.

Fabulous architecture tour! - Annabelle was a fantastic tour guide! We learned so much about the buildings of NYC and the different styles of architecture represented throughout the city. She was so knowledgeable and had such a great personality. She really made it fun! I highly recommend this tour.

Informative and engaging - We really enjoyed our three-hour architectural tour, which was like a "survey" course of major architectural styles in New York via examples like the Plaza, the Villard mansion, the Apple building, etc. I liked that our guide provided historical context and helped us understand the "backdrop." But what we loved was her explanations of contemporary issues like "air space," privately owned public spaces and the scaffolding problem. The tour made us just want to learn more.

A tour of mid town manhattan with Annabel - We had our tour with Annabel, she was undoubtely the best tour guide I have ever had. Kind, forthcoming and extreamly knowledgable, we would recomend her hughly to anybody willing to walk a bit.

I thoroughly recommend this tour and this company - I recently took the Midtown architecture tour led by Annabel, and it was absolutely outstanding. While the itinerary included many of the iconic buildings you'd expect from a Midtown tour, what truly set this experience apart was Annabel herself. She brought the architecture to life by weaving it into its historical context with a blend of insight and charm. Her eye for detail was remarkable - she highlighted features I would have completely overlooked on my own. I was also impressed by her access to buildings and her rapport with staff at various locations - this added a layer of depth and authenticity to the tour that I hadn’t anticipated. This tour was a highlight of my brief stay in New York City, and Annabel was a truly exceptional guide.

This is a fantastic Manhatten tour. - A small group walking tour and by far the one out of four tours that I chose that was most enjoyed. The guide, Annabelle, although small in stature stands as tall as the builings of New York. She expertly tunes into the vibe of the group and adjusts the tour to fit. She is a long time New Yorker and could likely answer many questions you have extending beyond architecture. Altough I was completely unaware of the various design phases of architectural progress in New York, Annabelle was able to connect and provide an eye opening experiece. Annabelle's knowledge of New York and her passion provides an expert guided tour that every tourist should add to their itinerary.
