Highlights and Unknown Gems - Could not imagine navigating the Metropolitan Museum of Art without Kevin of New York Historical Tours. More than the famous highlights, we will remember those small gems that Kevin wonderfully discussed. Highly recommended !

Outstanding all around! - Outstanding! Kevin was well educated and articulate as he took us through the Met. We came away with a strong understanding of the history of the museum and its beautiful works of art. Fantastic, impressive, and wonderful. Good for introduction to the Met - Our guide Dan met us at the entrance and asked us what we wanted to see and took us around several of the exhibits. The tour ended 5 minutes early because he had another tour to get to, but overall a nice experience for our family and one we were glad we did. We were able to move faster than a larger group would have been able to and therefore saw quite a lot in 2 hours, though that is nowhere near enough time to say we saw more than a fraction of the exhibits.

100% Take This Tour with Kevin! - 9 family and friends toured with Kevin through the Met and it was exceptional! One couple has been to the Met many many times and have had private tour guides at museums around the world. They both claimed Kevin’s tour was the best they’d EVER had! He kept it fast-paced enough for the young adults and gave us insight into not only what’s in the Met, but also how the Met came to be and how it is ever evolving. Can’t wait to go back and hire him for his other NYC tours!

A Merry Time at The Met! - Jared did an excellent job guiding us through The Met. He asked about the type of art and historical periods we wanted to see specifically and made sure we hit the highlights throughout our tour. His knowledge of the art along with the museum itself was impressive. He was flexible and entertaining.

Welcome to the Met - My adult daughter and I took this tour. We had both been to the Museum before but never felt comfortable on our own. This tour helped us understand the layout of the museum, its history, and the huge variety of its holdings. Our guide, Kevin, had lots of interesting tidbits to share, and everything he showed us was wonderful to see and enjoy. He was friendly, on time, helpful with coats and other items, and patient with my slow walking. We highly recommend this tour company.
