Great tour without all the walking! - We had a great morning touring and learning about the skyline-past and present. Boat was cute and clean, staff fun and helpful and guide very knowledgeable and genuinely liked sharing information.

A Different Perspective - Such a difference viewing the island from boat. We really enjoyed seeing and hearing about the different architectural styles as Manhattan “grew up”. It was also very interesting to see the response to climate change.

Tons of fun! - This was an interesting and thoroughly enjoyable tour. Our guide, Doug (a lifelong New Yorker), was at the same time delightful and incredibly knowledgeable of New York's architecture and history.

Great touring and learning experience on the water - Cruise was great! Easy to get to - we walked to the pier from Midtown. The staff was very friendly and helpful with refilling drinks, taking pictures and making sure everyone was comfortable. The yacht was clean and in great shape. The narrator was very knowledgeable, well prepared and informative as we cruised past the various buildings, landmarks and bridges. The cruise also qualified as continuing education for architects so it wasn't just a 'party cruise' but a fun and fascinating learning experience. We were originally scheduled for a morning cruise, but were rebooked to the afternoon - reason for that was not explained. So we had to rush a bit for our evening activity. Despite this, we were very pleased with the experience.

An amazing experience! - This was an amazing and wonderful experience. Doug, the tour guide was highly, knowledgeable, personable, funny, a local, and more historian than an architect which made for a broader review of the city. The boat was immaculate, airy, and the staff was just as wonderful. I would highly, highly recommend this tour. We plan to do it again.

A different perspective of manhattan - The best comment about the tour is that it is a different perspective on Manhattan with an informative licensed architect as guide. The tour offers more in depth narration than the typical tourist cruise. My companions were both city residents and they remarked at how much they discovered about their own place. The quarters were spacious and we liked being able to reserve our own table. There was so much to see that there were spots we wished the boat could have slowed down, but there was much to be covered.

Narrator talks nonstop... - Narrator talks nonstop and can detract from seeing architecture because there’s too much information to take in at once.
