• The Metropolitan Museum of Art - This interactive tour will last approximately two hours; you’re welcome to stay in the museum after the tour ends. We suggest that you wear sneakers or comfortable walking shoes–and brush up on your wizarding knowledge! Wizarding gear is always welcome, but wands must be small enough to stow away in a bag.

Join the “Griffins, Goblets, and Gold” tour, an engaging ‘Magical Arts’ experience at the Metropolitan Museum, inspired by a beloved book series about magic and wizards. Discover areas and exhibits reminiscent of the books, including parts of a real castle and mythical creatures similar to those in the stories. Engage in activities, view the museum through a wizard’s eyes, and perhaps even perform a bit of magic. (Wearing interactive wizard gear is encouraged.) Reservations must be made in advance. Please allocate two hours for the tour. Suitable for ages 8 and up.
