Eric Ferrara, your guide, is the founder of the Lower East Side History Project. He is a seven-time published author and a native New Yorker with family roots in Little Italy spanning four generations.

Eric also established the former Museum of the American Gangster, the Lower East Side Welcome Center, and the East Village Visitor Center. He has served as a consultant for numerous film and television projects, including the History Channel, Netflix’s “The Irishman,” HBO’s “Boardwalk Empire,” AMC’s “Making of the Mob,” and Warner Brothers’ new “Great Gatsby.” His literary works include the “Manhattan Mafia Guide.”
