Nicely Done... - We enjoyed the tour of Little Italy and Chinatown! Erik was a great guide and possessed LOADS of patience. We were late to the tour and it took a while for us to catch up. He was kind enough check in on us a few times and we were very appreciative. He shared a wealth of information and tooks us to different restaurants and markets to sample treats (like dumplings, knish, italian meats and cheeses). It was very interesting and I highly recommend him. You can tell that he loves what he does and it was a wonderful tour. We hope to run into him again when we book other tours the next time we are in NYC.

Excellent NYC immigrant history and food tour - My family of four had a great time with Mickey learning all about NYC’s immigrant history and tasting several different foods. It was great having such a knowledgeable and friendly tour guide to introduce us to NYC on the first day of our little vacation from home in San Francisco.

Good food good time - Our walking tour with Bruce was informative and delicious. We delved into the history of NYC from the Five Points neighborhood to Chinatown, the Lower East Side and Nolita. Everything was well
organized and Bruce was a never ending font of knowledge about the neighborhood. If you’re looking for a local tour with a hyper local guide this tour is for you!

Delicious and interesting food tour - The tour was very informative and interesting. Micky led us through Chinatown, Little Italy, Soho, and the Lower East Side, telling us fascinating facts about the different areas. In each area, we made a short stop where we were given something to eat. Although it was very cold, the tour was captivating.

Intrepid Urban Adventures Tenements Tales and Tastes walking tour with Bruce - Had the great pleasure of having the Intrepid Urban Adventures Tenements Tales and Tastes walking tour with Bruce. He was engaging, SO knowledgable, interesting as well as interested (I was on the tour with locals who learned a great deal about the city they live in) and all with good humor. He also gave us other great ideas of how to experience the city on foot and on ferry. I highly recommend taking this food tour with Bruce. You learn so much not only about NYC but the early history of the U.S. and the immigrants who shaped it.

Couple of Texans doing NYC - Overall the experience was great and a little more than anticipated. Tye communication from the tour guide at the beginning was great. His name was Eric. He sent an email night before, then followed up morning of, then checked in when we were running late. We got lost on the subway and managed to get ahold of Eric and he was able to direct us to where the group was so we could link up with them and finish the tour. We got tons of history of NYC with picture visuals of the past and tried 4 different cuisines. He then recommended some other places to try after which were not a disappointment. We also got the most bang for our buck at each of the places and NYC being so expensive, we were ballin on a budget and getting a great experience. Highly recommend!

Walk & Eat your way through the Lower East Side! - A unique, informative gastronomic walking tour of the Lower East Side. Bruce was a terrific guide -- extremely knowledgeable, has lived in the neighborhood for decades, has a passion for the food and culture, made it fun and interesting. He was incredibly generous with his time and all of the history and culture that he shared.
The food was awesome and such a wide variety -- from fried dumplings at a local 'hole-in-the-wall in Chinatown to cheese & salami in Little Italy...and knishes, empanadas and dill pickles on the Lower East Side...tons of really good food, a great value!
