Fantastic experience! - Our horse, carriage, and driver, Omer, were absolutely fantastic! We visited in December, so our evening ride was quite chilly, but Omer had a large, comfortable blanket to keep our family warm. To set the holiday mood, he asked if it would be okay to play Christmas music as he took us around several key locations. One highlight was Saks Fifth Avenue, where Omer timed our stop perfectly—placing us directly in front of the store just as their beautiful Christmas light show began. We had front-row seats to an unforgettable display. The entire experience was wonderful from start to finish. I highly recommend booking a carriage ride with NYC Fancy Rides—it was truly a magical holiday experience.

LADIES TRIP - We had a group of 7 ladies, so we rented 2 carriages for an hour-long Christmas light excursion. The experience was fun, entertaining, and magical! The driver was super friendly and accommodating.

Breathtaking, smooth, comfy ride! - Highly recommend this private Horse and carriage Christmas Lights ride through Central Park and then down 5th Ave. It was truly breathtaking. Our driver, Atakan, was absolutely fabulous. He was super kind, took pictures of us on the carriage at a couple of stops, and gave us information on the places we passed by. The ride was smooth, comfortable and very relaxing. He even let my daughter connect to the speaker to play music!! She loved that! The kids also got to feed the horse, Freddy, when we got back to the drop off location. It was PHENOMENAL!! Highly recommend!!

Absolutely brilliant a must do when in New York. - Mohammad was a brilliant guide and was really friendly. He was waiting ready for us when we arrived. We Had a blanket to keep us warm and even had a bit of Christmas music playing which was lovely. Michelle the horse was absolutely beautiful the carriage was spotless. We really enjoyed the whole experience and highly recommend to do this when visiting New York especially at Christmas time. We had lots of opportunities to have our pictures taken which look fabulous even at the tree and got to see the light show at jacks. Thank you so much we will be doing the same next year when we visit.

Very great carriage experience - The horse was very friendly and looked well taken care of. The driver, Joseph was very helpful and took lots of pictures of us. He played Christmas music and made the ride very fun. Would recommend this tour.

Just a mode of transportation - We booked this through our credit card using points earned. I am so thankful we didn’t pay cash for this “tour”. It was lovely getting to see all the Christmas lights and the driver timed our arrival at Saks for the light show perfectly. However, there was no actual tour. The driver didn’t speak with us the whole ride. Stopped and took some photos twice. To me it just didn’t live up to what I was expecting. Maybe a pedicab tour would have been better. Or just walking by the sights would have worked also.

Disappointing - I reserved the carriage ride for 8:00pm EST on Monday, Dec 29 at a fee of $340 for 2 of us. It was a cold, windy evening in NYC but we were very excited for the experience. At 7pm I received a text with the pick up location and the name of our driver, Atakan, stating the tour would start promptly at 8 PM. We hurried to make it to the Central Park pick up area from our dinner. When we arrived at the pick up spot at 7:59 pm I had received the following text: “Driver update. New driver name is Niko. You don’t have to come early. Ride will start on time.” I asked for Niko among the other carriage drivers and there was no driver with that name. It was now 8:05 pm and we were left out standing in the cold and wind. At 8:09pm another carriage driver came over and said that our driver was running late and that he would be here soon. The driver did arrive, with a couple in his carriage, who clearly were enjoying their carriage ride. Then they proceeded to get out of the carriage, and the driver was taking photos of the couple with the carriage and the horse. I totally understand that is part of the experience, but nonetheless, we were standing out in the cold blustery weather now for over 15 minutes after the scheduled start time of our tour. I paid over $300 for this 45 minute experience, it was a waste of money. Basically it was a ride down 5th and Madison Avenues in a horse drawn carriage, with 2 stops for photos. We had taken better photos during our walk down the same routes the night prior. Not worth the $ nor the time spent on the experience, and the miscommunication was very disappointing. Would not recommend this, based on our experience.
