Going like Chelsea - Curt our tour guide was extremely knowledgeable and tailored our tour to our dietary preferences. He made each stop both interesting as well as entertaining. The 3 hour tour seemed to fly by and allows us plenty of time to revisit shops, restaurants and points of interest. I highly recommend this tour.

A wonderful gourmet food tour. - A wonderful tour, very delicious and informative. The quality of the food was magnificent. The diversity of flavours and textures was very enjoyable. Just the right amount of food, walking and information. And, we met a lobster.

Wonderful and outstanding experience! Did not want tour to end! - Curt was outstanding, very funny and knowledgeable of the area with lots of great stories and background information of not just the area in general but also local celebrities, gourmet food and the purpose and design of every spot we walked to. We enjoyed breakfast and coffee together to start, had a sampling of biscuits, cheeses, chocolates, doughnuts, and then strolled around the High Line where he told lots of great stories both personal and historical about the surrounding area. We walked over to Diane Von Furstenberg's shop where he had some wonderful anecdotes about her beautiful store and took some pictures of me on a stairwell bathed in natural light. He offered to take pictures for me everywhere we went in fact! Everyone seemed to know him and he had delightful stories about most of the shop owners and knew employees by name, striking up playful banter that he included me in and I got to meet everyone as well. We finished the day with a lovely pulled pork sandwich and a trip to the cutest shop where I was able to get some tea, honey and little knick knacks for my friends back home. All told, It was a wonderful outing. Even more surprising was that this was a backup plan of sorts. I was intended to take the tour the previous day however the rail strike prevented his other guide from being present so he dropped everything and rushed over to me and got me into the empire state building totally unexpected in order to make sure there was no gap in my day's plans. He walked me through the lower floors continuing to display his wonderful insights into the area and sent me to the top promising to keep in touch via text and that we would arrange a backup plan which we obviously did the very next morning. As I was in awe at the Empire State Building, he continued to guide via text and offer wonderful suggestions for the route I might take during that day. I feel like I effectively got 2 tours for 1. If you're at all debating between this tour and any other one, this is the one! I have to admit, I was a bit sad it ended but even on the second day, he had wonderful suggestions for how I might spend the rest of my short visit and I am very grateful both for him and the mishap because it lead to a truly stellar experience!

Just the three of us. - Curt was very informative and personable. We had a great variety of tastings. It was so much fun. It was nice to have a small group tour.

I don’t know how the tour... - I don’t know how the tour would have been as it was cancelled due to host illness I did go on my own and at least was able to see Chelsea. Would have wanted to know where meatpackimg district is.
