Fantastic Family Tour in Central Park - We did the Central Park guided walking tour as a family of six (seven including our infant son), and it was absolutely worth it. Chris was our guide and he was excellent throughout — really knowledgeable, very funny, and with a great sense of humour. I completely mortified myself by arriving late (I’m usually very punctual!), but Chris was in touch by text, was really understanding and incredibly patient, and didn’t rush anything as a result. Once we got started, he gave us some really interesting history of New York and of Central Park. We walked at a great pace — not too fast, but not dawdling either. Central Park is huge, so doing a tour like this really gives you a good feel for the layout and highlights you might otherwise miss. I’d really recommend this to anyone visiting New York for the first time or anyone wanting a deeper appreciation of the park. This was my fifth trip to New York, but my first time doing something like this, and I genuinely wish I’d done it sooner. We did the tour in winter with snow on the ground, and it was still brilliant — I can only imagine it’s even better in spring or summer. Ramble on! - We had a wonderful Central Park walking tour and couldn’t recommend it more. Our guide, Chris, was incredibly knowledgeable and pointed out details, stories, and hidden elements we never would have noticed or understood on our own. The park is filled with gorgeous architecture, sculptures, and intimate pocket views that constantly shift your perspective as you walk. I especially loved our time in the Ramble, where the experience felt quieter and more immersive—and spotting a Cooper’s hawk there was an unforgettable bonus. A truly enriching way to experience the park.

Walk in the snow in Central Park - Chris was great. We loved the small group and the detailed stories he told. We were even a little late to the meeting spot and he was kind enough to wait on us and kept in contact with us via text.

Our guide was outstanding... - Our guide was outstanding and knew so much about the park and the buildings surrounding it. It was also great to learn from someone who lives in the city about life there and his experiences as a guide. HIGHLY recommend as this was one of the top activities we did in our 5 days in NYC.

Great Walk with an Exceptional Tour Guide - Chris did an amazing job giving my husband and me a tour of Central Park. I booked the tour a year ago for 10am and even though he doesn’t offer that time option anymore and we were the only two people on the tour, he honored the time. The snow in the park made the walk even more magical. My husband (who is a native NYer) was super impressed by Chris’s knowledge, trivia and fun facts. He was one of the best tour guides we’ve ever had on any tour. We saw the main highlights of the park and enjoyed the easy walking pace. Highly recommend this tour with Chris in any season.

Chilly walks around central park - Loved our visit to central park, would have been wandering around clueless if it wasn't for our tour guide, chris! He was super knowledgeable and really chilled! Learned a lot from him! Highly recommend!
