A great day at Lantau Island - Wing Man (Grace) was the most terrific guide. Well organised, efficient and very knowledgeable. Of course the cable car with views and the Big Buddha were stand out. We also went on a visit to a temple off the beater track which was quite magical with chanting monks and incredible views, then on a trip round the stilted fishing village and a village house.tour. All with good humour. We would recommend this tour unreservedly.

An Unforgettable Lantau Experience with Michael - We booked a Lantau Island tour (Tian Tan Buddha and Tai O Fishing Village) in advance, and it turned out to be one of the highlights of our Hong Kong trip. Largely thanks to our guide, Michael.
Michael is a true local, incredibly knowledgeable and professional. His explanations were clear, insightful, and full of cultural and historical context that we would never have discovered on our own. What made the experience truly special was a small group setting, it felt personal, relaxed, and never rushed.
In addition to visiting the Tian Tan Buddha, Michael also took us to a local Guanyin Temple that is frequented by residents rather than tourists. It was a meaningful and peaceful stop that gave us deeper insight into local beliefs and daily spiritual life.
This thoughtful addition made the tour feel even more authentic and culturally rich.
In Tai O, Michael took us beyond the typical tourist spots. We even had the rare opportunity to visit a local fisherman’s home and learn about daily life in the village. That authentic interaction made the experience unforgettable.
If you’re looking to see a different, more genuine side of Hong Kong, I highly recommend touring with Michael. It was thoughtful, immersive, and exceptionally well organized.

Great experience - Experiences don’t often include more than you thought you were paying for it, but this one did. There was so much to see and taken in. Everything about it was perfect from the timing to the speed. We appreciate Deryk and his knowledge.

Fantastic guide 100% recommend and do not skip the fishing village! - Fantastic guide (Jason) I would book anything with him again and again. Please don't skip the excursion to the fishing village! It was the highlight for me!
This was a small group tour and just the right size and feel. I loved every aspect of it. There was plenty of walking, but our guide was patient and kind and even bought us waters and a local treat at the fishing village that wasn't technically part of the tour.

Great authentic experience - I had a fantastic day with Alice! She was very kind and insightful! It’s a perfect trop for those who like a more authentic, less touristy experience (especially the second temple and the house visit in Tai O village). I highly recommend this tour!

A more authentic side of Lantau - I absolutely recommend this tour. Alice was a wonderful guide, very kind, and gave us a lot of information. I very much valued going to the second, lesser-visites temple, as well as visiting a family home in Tai O village. That was the highlight of the day for me! This is perfect for those who want to go outside the box and want a more authentic experience.

Must Visit Experience in Hong Kong - Wind was amazing guide and we had great time visiting Lantau Island and Tai O Fishing Village. We took the non touristy route and got some great views about local culture and Hong Kong’s past
