Much better! - After having a terrible pickup from the airport we decided to give them a second chance and have them pick us up from our hotel for departure since it was already scheduled. This was so much better because of one thing…I called to reconfirm the day before…they had several details wrong but I was able to get them corrected and the driver was early and it was just a wonderful transfer to the airport. He had forgotten about one of our bags as had we when he drove off, but he came right back around immediately and dropped it off. You just are going to need to be clear, reconfirm and make sure you got everything! They did a good job this time and I have learned to make sure to reconfirm everything and focus more on what they do or don’t do.

Premier experience at reasonable price - Driver was early. Driver was professionally dressed and mannered. Vehicle was spotless. Couple (2 riders). Felt like A-rated passengers in this transport from hotel to airport, at a reasonable rate. Highly recommend.

The future of travel for us. - Following our great experience with Hughes on the Gold Coast for her 70th birthday celebrations in September (airport transfer to Seaworld Resort for 2 of our family group and a driver to and from Seaworld to Australian Outback Spectacular for 4 others), we decided to use Hughes services again for our 10-night trip to Sydney for our 50th wedding anniversary in November . She'd been so impressed with the space and comfort of the luxury Mercedes van for 4 that she wanted them for each of our 3 Sydney trips ie Sydney airport to Manly (where we had our honeymoon in 1975), Manly to Quay West Suites at Circular Quay and Quay West to the airport. Once again, the booking process was effortless, the drivers were punctual, efficient and temperate in their driving and the vehicles were immaculate. The pick-up at the airport was very relaxed - the driver was waiting for us at the baggage section, our bags were almost the first to appear and we were whisked out to the van which was parked only metres from the baggage area. The best arrival we've ever had at Sydney airport. Yeah, I know that Hughes had nothing to do with the bags coming off so quickly (Virgin Business efficiency) but it all added to the experience. During the trip, we came to the conclusion that we'll use Hughes wherever practical in the future. A frightening taxi ride from Aria restaurant to Quay West with a maniac driver cemented that decision.

Ride to airport - Arrived on time. Driver was very professional. Comfortable ride. Simply the best way to get the airport. Would order again.

2nd time did not get better - Some of there cars are considered luxury are older Toyota/lexus type vehicles that are equivalent to Camary. Made it known that there would be three people going to the Airport with flight number provided that would indicate that we would be flying international. In addition, the same company picked us up from the airport. This time we were able to smash into the car luckily, so we would not be late waiting on an appropriate vehicle. Driver drove an average of 15-20km over the speed limit 90% of the drive. Cursed a street worker for doing his job (street closed for new years). Changed lane cutting off several people on the road with some noticeable in their anger at the driver. After two poor experiences I would not recommend this service in the future for anyone.

Driver from Hughes Private Transport Sydney Domestic Airport left us stranded. - Don't use Hughes Private Car services if you require disability assistance. Booked a trip of a life for myself & elderly mother who has a for arm walker. We had 2 normal sized suitcases & 2 carry -ons Business Class domestic Airport from Maroochydore to Sydney. Origional flight VA487 got changed at the last minute to Business Class VA484. Advised to put mobile ph on flight mode by Virgin Crew. Paid $164 by direct debit for Transfer to Four Seasons Hotel The Rocks Sydney close to Circular Quay. As Mum & I are disability assisted we were first on the flight from Maroochydore & last off at Sydney Domestic. As very unfamiliar to Sydney domestic Airport advised works going on at Terminal 2. Mobility assisted buggy took us to Terminal 2 as we were last off & struggled to collect Mum's for-arm walker along with suitcases. Contacted Hughes approximately 2 days prior to departure on 03/11/2025 to confirm booking & spoke with Clio in the office & advised all good Robyn. Your transfer has been confirmed. Finally when we got out of the luggage collection & now waiting for our transfer Hughes Private Car service to collect us & take us to Four Seasons Hotel. Was not aware that my Flight number from Virgin had been changed & had only just taken my mobile off flight mode when a message had come through to say please call us regarding your transfer. Confirmation No: 8306630. Due to no fault of our own & because our Virgin Australia BC flight number had been changed at the last minute. The driver thought as i didn't respond to his ph call had i known that- we wern't coming. We were inside the domestic airport making our way through to the designated area. To my mothers elderly upset & mine the driver had left us stranded & the money paid. No refund either. Another $84.00 later got a cab from Sydney Domestic Airport to The Four Seasons Hotel The Rocks Circular Quay for which we were very grateful. Extreemly disappointed that this service had let us down & our Travel Agent flight centre Nambour has been informed of this & advised we do not wish to use Hughes private car service again if travelling to Sydney for Holiday. It has been a learning experience for my Elderly Mother & myself to be treated in this way. Extreemly disappointed.
