- Listen to detailed discussions about the local architecture, that range from French to Greek Revival to classic American — many of the buildings are plantation style and boast expansive gardens
- Get a glimpse of celebrity homes, especially those of celebrity chefs — stop by Emeril Laggasse's and other James Beard award recipients' houses
- Stop off at the Commander's Palace, a prominent source of creole cuisine and jazz, for the perfect end to your tour

Meet at 9:20 am. Wear comfortable shoes.
For public walking tours such as "Early Bird", “Foodie for a Day” , “Bubbles and Bites” , etc. tours and dinner club, once purchased, all tickets sold are nonrefundable and cannot be rescheduled or exchanged. The tour is held rain or shine, unless it is severe weather. If tour fails to meet minimum enrollment, or there is severe weather, we may we cancel the tour. In this case only Destination Kitchen will contact guests to reschedule or offer a refund.
