Due to the recent death of the founder of Kliebert's, the place is in transition as things are being moved. I've visited 3 times in the past and this tour was nothing like to previous ones. The gift shop was closed and we were unable to visit the turtle ponds and some of the smaller gator ponds. Richard was our guide and he did a great job of ensuring that our 9 year old nephew (the reason for this visit) was entertained and educated on the different animals. Would have been nice for something to have been posted on the website. We paid full price in advance on the website. Upon our arrival, we were told that the cost would be $10 a piece, less than our on-line cost. We were not offered a refund for the difference. I'm hoping that things will get better as they work their way through this transition period.
Tour guide was great and we loved holdingthe small gator. Facility is not in good condition and seems to need better maintenance.
Need to clean the cages of all animals. Dog looked healthy. Out back dog needs clipped grass . Staff was very nice. Cats fed. Ferret cage yucky
It absolutely did not feel like a high school field trip, which is probably the biggest compliment I can give for a guided group tour! Group size was tiny and great guide (Argh, I forgot his name. Younger guy that said he only recently started guiding at the farm, and paired with a little stage fright at the beginning. Anyway, if you read this, you did awesome, no need to be nervous ;) ). Very personal, time is taken to answer everyone's questions and get good photo opportunities.
The tour was amazing, informative, and our guide was GREAT with children, while keeping them safe!! As a grandmother, I had a blast, sitting on an alligator........how awesome!!!! Everyone in our family was amazed by this place!!!!
The tour was awesome the kids and adults loved it! Thank you very much.
