Transformative Experience with High Priest Robi - My spouse and I began our trip to New Orleans with his blessing, and I wouldn’t have it any other way! This tour was interesting, engaging, and unforgettable. As a Black woman with Southern roots, learning the true history and nature of Vodou felt deeply healing and empowering. Robi teaches with such love, respect, and authenticity. What he’s doing is courageous and radical! I’ll carry these lessons with me for life.

Number One Thing to do in NOLA - If there is one thing you do when visiting New Orleans let it be this tour. Robi is knowledgeable, kind, and fun to learn about the history of Vodou and New Orleans from. Please book thru his website and not the Travel By Foot Tours site as booking thru his site is free and he doesn’t profit from the walking tours schedule fee.

Great experience! - My better half and I took the tour w Robi. If you're going to take a Vodou tour why not do it w High Priest? The tour is extremely informative on the rich history of New Orleans Vodou. Robi quickly dispelled myths about this beautiful religion. Robi is exceptionally knowledgeable, w the references to back up his stories. He adds a lot of humor to go w the terrible stories from the past. As a person of Native descent it was wonderful to hear how my ancestors helped enslaved people escape. Throughout the tour and afterwards Robi answers all questions. Highly recommend!

Just absolutely marvelous experience with high priest Robi - We spent the morning with high priest Robi and oh my was it marvelous. Beyond extremely qualified and knowledgeable this is apart of him and his family and his personal history. He made all of us laugh at some point he made all of us cry at some point and he taught with love and acceptance the whole time. Aside from recommending him to everyone reading this, I will 1000% be back to visit him again myself!

Voodoo Tour with Robi - You have to do the tour with High Priest Robi. He makes it fun to learn history and he clearly knows his stuff. You will do a little(lot of) laughing, get a little sweaty, definitely learn something, and you just may leave a different person than the one who walked up to Armstrong park.

The best voodoo tour with the real facts separated from the fiction! - This tour with guide Matthew was excellent! It was dufficult to choose from the descriptions and reviews of all the voodoo tours, but we made the right choice! Matthew has in-depth knowledge about voodoo because he studied it and a good friend of him is a high priest who told him a lot of additional insights. Separating fiction and facts gave us the true picture! Catholicism and voodoo have a lot in common. He also told the real story about the doll and the pin and how it was used in the past and it is not like in films! We highly recommend this tour!
