Wonderful experience with Evian on Voodoo Tour - My wife and I went on the Voodoo Tour with Evian, and it was really incredible. Specific, complex, decolonized history that opened up the city for us. Evian was a fantastic tour guide. We enjoyed every moment, highly recommend.

Awesome Voodoo Tour - This was our second tour with Anderson in 2 days; he is a fun and knowledgeable guide. We really enjoyed the voodoo tour. We learned so much. We were surprised to learn that the religion of voodoo is very different than what is depicted in books and movies. I highly recommend this tour and Anderson as a guide. He exceeded our expectations.

Loved it - Went on the Voodoo tour with Adelai as our guide. They were incredibly knowledgeable, passionate, and thorough. If Adelai said “we’ll get to [insert topic]”, we did! Adelai’s way of providing all of this new info was easy to process and connect topics. Literally the best walking tour I’ve been on. If you like learning about history and culture in a fun way (while being open and respectful), you will thoroughly enjoy this tour. We will be trying out more tours by this company! THANK YOU for this experience and sharing your knowledge and city’s culture 😊

Best tours we’ve ever done - Fantastic Tour Experience with Adelai. We did the food tour, the cocktail tour, the paranormal tour and the voodoo tour. Adelai is very versed in these subjects and had levels of access that were phenomenal. We do tours whenever we travel and these were by far the best we have experienced.

Worth every dollar spent - We loved it. We loved all parts of the tour. It completely changed (and corrected) our understanding of Voodoo. Nothing to do with whatever we see on hollywood movies. I really recommend it. We understood also that Voodoo history here is basically New Orleans history. So by taking this tour you get a tour about the city's history.

Voodoo Tour of New Orleans - Excellent tour and guide! Andersen guided our family of 5 (2 grandparents and 3 grandsons ages 18, 17, and 17) through the streets of New Orleans pointing out landmarks as he gave us the history of New Orleans as it relates to the beginnings of Voodoo in this country, why and how it happened, how it relates to the established Catholic religion, who participated in it, and how it evolved over the years. Fascinating history and culture. On our walk we stopped at an authentic Voodoo store where Andersen showed us some artifacts and related them to what we had learned. Andersen was an energetic, knowledgable, friendly, thoughtful person with a wonderful sense of humor who encouraged our questions and comments. We highly recommend this tour!

Skip the voodoo tour - I am not easy offended or part of any religious sect but I do believe in showing respect towards people who are religious. Yes, the tour guide (young woman, cannot remember her name) was extremely educated about the topic of voodoo but even I was shocked at how disrespectful she was towards the Catholic religion. I could tell some of the couples were uncomfortable and unsure what to do, not us - we just left.
