Intriguing tour on St Louis 1 - A whistle stop tour through the old cemetery gives a great insight into the history of burial practices in New Orleans. Zelda the tour guide provided a great tour delivered with wonderful personality and reverential humour. The gift shop closes at 4pm in case you’re on a later tour and plan to pick up anything afterwards

If you want a history of... - If you want a history of the cemeteries in Louisiana and this, the oldest of them, this is a great tour. You get so much information and can fit the hour in just about anywhere in your visit. Zelda was our guide and not only she did know the history, she shared some of her personal memories and experiences as a life long resident of Louisiana. Would highly recommend.
