NOLA City Tour and Steam boat ride - The city tour was great. Our guide Harris was extremely knowledgeable about New Orleans and Louisiana. Harris was receptive to answering all questions with no hesitation. Harris made the tour enjoyable and informative. Five stars! Not forgetting our bus driver who patiently drove us around. Thank you both for a great trip. The steam boat ride was an enjoyable way to finish off the afternoon. I would reccomened tour first then boat ride as we did.

Top notch Jazz Brunch Cruise on the historic Natchez - Our 35 year anniversary trip, so we wanted a boat tour, Jazz music, and a Sunday brunch. Found all three in one place! The Natchez! What a fun trip and great food. Music was really good, and when they were on break, a Captain gave historical navigation while we went down the Mississippi. Menus for lunch and dinner differ from the Sunday brunch. We had so much to choose from, and the chicken and rice gumbo they brought us when we were first seated was excellent. We enjoyed the smoked salmon, BBQ shrimp, grits, eggs, sausage, biscuits and gravy, and really loved the cinnamon rolls. Drinks at the bar were affordable, and there was plenty of seating in the dining area, on any of the three decks, and in the front and back of the boat. Visiting the steam room and mechanic rooms was fun to see how this historic, old paddle wheel steamer actually works. Captain pointed out plenty of times to take pictures (city skyline, etc). We are "young" for late 50's and very active. There were people of all ages and mobilities enjoying the tour. I'd recommend it for anyone.

Delicious meal - We did this with the Lunch option. Upon arriving at the steamboat we chose to eat first. We were seated in the dining room. Food was played at d served to our table. Food was delicious. Tour guide was very informative.

Katherine was a great... - Katherine was a great guide. She was very informative. Didn't rush us through the cemetary part of tour or the Garden District.

Really wonderful. - This was a terrific trip. This is a totally legit steam-driven paddlewheel boat and is beautiful. We opted to not have the lunch but sat outside on the deck and watched our trip down the river. The sites along the river are not all that spectacular, but that wasn't our primary point of the boat ride. Clearly the boat is the site to see. Oh, at the very end of the boat ride as they are approaching the pier they start playing the calliope and it is painfully loud. Everybody got up and moved indoors because the thing just too loud!

New Orleans cruise - The meal and service was incredible with a live band. It is a great way to start your vacation in New Orleans. However, we had to share the cruise with a substantial number of teenagers on school field trips and it was difficult to navigate around the exterior of the boat, especially after dark.

Tour and Steamboat tour - We almost lost our BUS tour, somehow our booking didn't register in their side, good thing we arrive a little earlier so it was solve a little after the tour start. I even had to proof that the payment was made. The tour it was just ok. Cemetery tombs were pretty, I would have prefer to stop in the houses (French/English style) from our passing by they were beautiful (before the stop in the American homes (expensive area)). the history about how it became an expensive area was nice. It was not a stop in the French Quarter or the Jackson square (were it said in tour it was. The only stops were in the area of Nicholas Cage house (American houses) and the City park. The tour guy was friendly, but talk a lot (I guess part of his job (information about the city)) it didn't give time for questions. The steamboat ride was really nice, I bought the Jambalaya and it had a good flavor. boat has a lot places to seat (inside or outside) and 3 levels. I give 4 stars because of the tour, it didn't make all the stops.

Great experience minus the terrible pre-board music. - The ship and tour were excellent. The narration on the different sites was very informative and well done. If we had one complaint it would be the god awful music being played while we stood in line to board. Otherwise, well done Natchez!

See some city and relax on the Mississippi - The city tour was absolutely full of info and a lot of ground got covered. The 3 stops were only 10-15 minutes in length so there isn't any chance to walk around. It does however give you an idea of where you might want to go back to revisit. If you want a boat tour to take in scenery this is not what you're looking for as the river is full of commercial ships however...if what you're looking for is a quiet experience on a piece of history with live jazz playing and a great explanation of the history then this IS exactly for you

Not impressed - Definitely not at all what I was expecting. Read plenty of reviews to know to skip the food. But we could have skipped this whole experience. The narrator was flat. Not entertaining at all. And lacking in narrative. Very disappointing was hoping for so much more history and insight of the river and the area
