• Louis Armstrong Park - The music tour of New Orleans kicks off just outside the French Quarter at the historic and picturesque Louis Armstrong Park in the Tremé neighborhood. Within the park, the tour will delve into the historical roots of jazz and celebrate one of its legends, Armstrong himself.

• The Mahalia Jackson Theater of the Performing Arts - The tour will pass by the Mahalia Jackson Theater of the Performing Arts, situated in Louis Armstrong Park in New Orleans, Louisiana. This theater is named in honor of gospel singer Mahalia Jackson, a native of New Orleans.

• French Quarter - From there, the tour will proceed into the Vieux Carré, or the French Quarter, where participants will learn about the origins and culture of jazz while exploring the oldest neighborhood in NOLA, and visiting some notable historic sites. The guide will have selected a special route to ensure the best music experience.

• Bourbon Street - On one possible route, the tour will explore the history of Bourbon Street and the residential and commercial areas where blues and jazz artists collaborated to create incredible music. There might even be a chance to catch a busker performing at the historic French Market!

• Frenchmen Street - Alternatively, the guide might choose to head to the renowned Frenchmen Street, known for having the largest concentration of live music venues in the city. Regardless of the path taken, participants will find themselves at a fantastic Jazz/Music Spot, where the guide will take them inside to enjoy the local music scene.

• French Quarter - In either case, being with a local guide will provide insights into the neighborhood, tips on making the most of the visit, and an understanding of the music culture and its operation in clubs and venues. To enhance the experience, a complimentary drink will be offered at one of the stops, with the option to purchase additional beverages as desired.

• Preservation Hall - The tour will pass by the historic music venue Preservation Hall in the French Quarter, dedicated to protecting, preserving, and perpetuating the spirit of traditional New Orleans jazz.

• Congo Square - The tour will explore the area originally known as Congo Square, one of the first places in the city where enslaved people and free people of color could gather and socialize. Participants will learn about the origins of jazz, which emerged from a rich blend of cultures in a single city, combining West African and Caribbean sounds with European musical influences to create this uniquely American art form.
